Lara looks very beatable here, but not by what's left of Danny Swift Garcia.

5-0 and if Danny doesn't do something soon he may as well quit.

Keep waiting for Danny to land a left but he can't. Painful to watch.

Danny nearly won the 8th !

But then Lara woke up and nicked it at the end...

lol - woulda been better than this !

Apologies from Danny for that performance - I don't like to see the crowd booing him when he was obviously trying so hard - not his fault, but he was as shot as you'll see.

What a snoozefest. Danny Garcia looked like he has nothing left, still Lara treated him like Garcia was a prime Mike Tyson until he realized he could actually put on some offense.

I agree with you. After all these years, surely his motivation is fading. Especially against this calibre of opponent.

Almost shoutout for me 119-108.

Berlanga hung tough and proved better than we thought.
He should improve a lot for this - take a small step back, then come again.

Berlanga didn't win a round.

I'd like to see Berlanga v Mungia. That would be fun. I highly favour Mungia.

Lara has 3 losses and 3 draws… they could all be wins. Had a B grade career that easily could have been A+

Canelo with another waste of a fight… overall canelo is the king of taking good fights, but for me It’s benividez, Bivol, beterb or mabey craw at 164ish… otherwise what’s the point..

i thought he was very lucky to get a draw vs carlos molina and that he lost to hurd close but clear, true he had other losses/draws that could went his way though. although applying that to every fighter and loads of guys would have improved careers. its also a feature of truly special fighters that they dont leave things so close that often

on the flip side, a guy like adrien broner could have double digit losses if the close ones went against him

I had his draw with Castaño a loss too. And now Lara has spent three years milking a middleweight paper belt against shyte competition. He certainly shouldn’t get a higher rating for winning a fake belt against a club fighter nicknamed Cornflake and defending it against O’Sullivan, Zerafa and a washed up welterweight. He was a good (albeit sometimes boring) fighter at jr mw

Boxing masterclass by past prime Canelo against young, big, strong powerpunching challenger at his very prime. "He will see something different saturday night." Man, Canelo is man of his words, no boxing no life :box: :box: :box: . Actually i have enjoyed whole card except Lara Garcia fight.

What a moneygrab fight. Canelo is past of his best and now he is chasing in easy paydays. There is a reason why Canelo avoided mandatory Benavidez and the rematch with Bivol .

At the age of 34-35 y/o Golovkin was beating a prime Jacobs and a 26-27 y/o prime Canelo. (byrd and trella saved gingerboy from a loss to GGG)

Benavidez can fight Morrell who is calling him multiple times and even followed him to 175 :D

boy, what are you smoking? Berlanga fought a bunch of washed up tomatoes.lol Going 12 rounds against guys like Steve Rolls, Alexis Angulo and Quigley is only showing that Berlanga is a big version of Paulie Malignaggi. :OhYes: Canelo is past prime now.
