Canelo vs McGregor on kickboxing rules 10 rounds fight- who wins this ?

At least it would be a more fair match with the kickboxing rules.

Canelo in any round he wants. Conor's kicks are not very good so it doesn't sway the needle enough. He's also way past it and juiced to the gills.

Its very difficult for a boxer to avoid leg kicks. Low kicks and front kicks are very effective and powerful. Conor would know how to exploit that.

Kickboxing rules vary.

Without leg kicks Connor would still be favourite, but with leg kicks Connor would be a huge favourite.

Without leg kicks Conor would get stopped but with leg kicks Conor would have a big advantage. Low kicks and high front kicks are very dangerous for a boxer.

Head and body kicks are still somthing canelo is completly untrained in. Connor was a great kicker early, dosent use it much now aw it gasses him a bit but vs a pure boxer those kicks would be a lot.

Who f*cking cares? McGregor hasn't done anything to make him a relevant name in Combat Sports in years.

Its very, very hard for a pure boxer to learn how to kick or to block kicks with their legs. Also it hurts like hell.

“Yeah, why not?” Alvarez told BS. “We've never talked about it. Then we'll show boxing is better. Easy, easy. Very easy money… at the time I want. One round, two rounds, three rounds – whatever I want.”

"Canelo is a cornflake. He has about 300,000 buys in him," said McGregor. "He does not generate nothing near what he seeks to be paid. UFC Noche is going to run them from The Strip. Sheik Turki was right moving on. Canelo doesn't sell.”

Like it or not Conor has a big fighter profile, much bigger than Berlanga or Munguia. What I'm saying is IF this fight would take place, it would be a much legit fight on kickboxing rules. :box:

I'd love to see this if kicks were relegated to being above the waist.
