Greg Page vs Alfredo Evangalista.

In this bout Page won in 2nd rd knockout. He weighed 235 pounds...................Was this weight too heavy for him? He seemed to move well at the weight and was impressive.

He wasn't that impressive. But that initial shot that put Alfredo down was tight. 235 was at least 10 pounds too heavy. But this was around the time his father had passed from cancer, so that may have had something to do with it.

Decent win on paper because Evangelista was rarely stopped but Page is too casual and it cost him a year later against Trevor Berbick in Las Vegas. Berbick jumped on the unbeaten Page and outworked him over 10 rounds to take an easy decision. Page claimed a broke thumb but he simply fought without any urgency.

Part of it was when he caught Page at the right time, when, in his words, his tools weren't polished. Berbick's trainer figuered out the right way to beat Greg.
