Unfortunatly Virgin are only showing the DAZN feed, even tho it’s on sky sports box office & TNT. You should be able to pick which one to order but Virgin are only letting you order the DAZN coverageCaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑20 Sep 2024, 14:56So DAZN are just broadcasting the TNT coverage ?tony1234 wrote: ↑20 Sep 2024, 14:51That's their coverage , you pay for the DAZN PPVCaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑20 Sep 2024, 14:46 Anybody know how to order this on TNT box office on Virgin TV ?
When I go to book it through upcoming live events it defaults to the DAZN PPV

It’s not that I can’t possibly envisage Hutchinson having a good night tomorrow, I just think Buatsi is too sturdy to get stopped by this guy whatever happens.forcefraser wrote: ↑20 Sep 2024, 16:26Has Buatsi been under real pressure yet? Hutchinson took Richards to school and it was his lack of fitness that let Richards back into it. I thought he handled Richards far better than Buatsi did
Fair enough he had his loss by KO, but he was in a bad place apparently. He was a real talent as an amateur.
Buatsi hasn't impressed me so far really. The bookies rarely get it wrong, but they had Richards a big favourite in the fight with Hutchinson. So did I until I watched a bit of him
Should be a cracking fight. After the main event this is the best match up on the card for me
But I’ll be the first to congratulate you if your bet comes off

They should make Gallagher duet with Fury, with Fury taunting the mic above his head so he has to jump as well as craning his neck.
I'm sure my wording about Ruiz was unclear: I meant if AJ smells blood and walks onto a counter again. Otherwise he should know Dubois' only gameplan is to land hurtful shots, so needn't worry about winning the first few if he can erode that confidence.
Unless Dub springs a still-fresh upset, keeping the faith could be his greatest challenge. I'd advise AJ against looking for the finish in favour of a UD or forcing the ref late, curbing the hope that inspires rallies. He loves the hype of being in the hunt, though!
Be lively if Dan goes full Warrington early doors. Triple D by way of Golota combo. (Voted AJ by decision.)

Yes, DDD did show improved heart in those two fights - but I think the improved opponent in AJ swings it back over to the quit scenario again.liamlion wrote: ↑20 Sep 2024, 04:25That is an entirely fair and reasoned judgment to make and something that lingers in my mind, but it has to be said that quite bizarrely and contradictory, DDD showed real heart and guts and resolve (i.e. no quit) when he fought and beat both Hrgovic and Miller in his most recent fights.
DDD bottled it against Slo-Joe Joyce as Joe relentlessly plodding on. At the stage DDD quit all he knew was that he had was a swelling around the eye - his eye hadn't spasmed and closed as the injury can do in extreme cases.
DDDs quit from a jab against Usyk was because he was so demoralised at Usyk being allowed to take so much time after the low punch .. as claimed by DDD.
Both excuses were nonsense, and merely convenient excuses playing on the opinions afterwards .. but it was an orbital break/ but Usyk was allowed a long count etc.
It's heavyweight boxing and 1 punch can turn it around - but the safe bet and most likely outcome is DDD quits after mid way.

Sticking with Joshua, but I'm not counting Dubois out.
Joshua has looked resurgent, but his opposition hasn't been great.
Dubois, on the other hand has beaten much better opposition and looks to have matured as a fighter.
Also, Dubois is much younger and probably hasn't even peaked yet.
I'm still going with Joshua, but I think Dubois may give him some uncomfortable moments.

I've stuck a fiver on DD 17/5

You used to get a free month subscription if you bought a DAZN PPV, now looks like it's been changed to only 7 days? Bit of a weird change, can only imagine they are struggling for subs even more than I thought.

Yeah I decided to buy in the end, good card and I rarely get PPVs but thought this would be worth it. Won't get home from football until about 6, hopefully won't miss too much.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Sep 2024, 05:22You getting it?Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑21 Sep 2024, 05:17 You used to get a free month subscription if you bought a DAZN PPV, now looks like it's been changed to only 7 days? Yeah, going back to the quit scenario, I think it can work both ways: 1/ Oh, he’s done it before so he’ll do it again, but there’s also the 2/ oh he’s done it before and received such a public shellhacking for doing so, he’s doubly determined not to do it again ( see last 2 fights )
Anyway, I’m gonna check odds later but I’m gonna have a bet on DD via stoppage, I think there’s a chance he’s gonna shock the big man.
If I was betting my life, I’d go Joshua, but this is a fun and not too outlandish bet
Plus I like him

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois | PPV - 21 September 2024
I went for Dubois and bet on him inside the distance, one win for Joshua against Nganou and all of a sudden he is a world beater again. Joshua has been on the slide since the Ruiz KO and I wonder if he goes gun shy again ?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois | PPV - 21 September 2024
It should be a big hitting affair and I think AJ's big guns will see off DDD.
Terrific match, undercard and occasion !
