If Usyk beats Fury and gives Dubois another shot there aren't enough hats to doff.

Of course one, or both of them may price themselves out of it.

Fury looked well pissed that his old mate woodentop lost .

I think Usyk retires on a win. but if he carries on i cant see him wanting rematches... Parker would make the most sense for him depening his resume... but as i said, i think he retires, parker would need to do somthing special to earn it. stopping DDD kabayal or bakole is the only real way i can see him being such a number one contender that Usyk feels obliged.

Whatever Fury does in December, the fight with Joshua is very much diluted and it should have been made years ago.

Yes it's still a massive box office fight but the shine is well and truly dulled.

Later tonight fwanks going to call his dr because his erection has lasted more than 4 hours....
Dr will have to talk to him about the side effects of viagra, and how taking to much at his age can risk his cardiovascular health and even result in heart attacks.
Then franks going to have to explain it isnt medication, but he is just barred up because his big black man beat up his rivals big black man on a dictatorship sponsered spectacle watched by millions around the globe...

So did AJ I think. The statue like persona coming to the ring and ring announcements showed that he was cold expecting he only had to land.
It seemed a premeditated plan to go with his gangster image. What an idiot.

just watched the post-fight conference and was really impressed with both AJ and Ben Davidson in terms of how they handled it. Honesty, humility and showing the right kind of pride. Both gone up considerably in my estimation.

It took a £10mill pull out contract clause to get him to step into the ring with Usyk so it clearly does!

Don’t know what the gangster image has to do with any premeditated plan. Just an observation seeing a rigid Joshua looking cold against a relaxed loose Dubois warm and ready to do what was needed to win.

Tremendous night of boxing and what a main event!!

Dubois was superb and showed real poise in there, as well as aggression and power.

AJ's bravery was incredible.

Are we seeing the end of an era ( Wilder KO'd by Zhang in 5, AJ KO'd by Dubois in 5, and Fury bashed from pillar to post in Round 9 against Uysk)?

Absolutely shocking refereeing in the third round, letting Dubois unload on AJ after his gloves touched the canvas.

At the end of the third round I was having flashbacks of poor Bruno getting walloped into submission on the ropes in the Tyson rematch.

AJ did well to last as long as he did.

he'd definitely written that one down to say during the fight. amazing filler
Nothing will ever be as good as Smiths Bomber quite 🤣
Quite! Up there with Fury's 'gay lover Tony Bellew' between rounds tirade in the pantheon of 21st century boxing highlights.
That Fury rant was exceptional. Especially given his cyan baseball cap and JD sportswear look compares to modern fury

AJ was way too frantic after that first shot landed. Dubious kept composed and ended it. Respect

How come Dubois ring walked first when he was the belt holder?

I had a breakdown on how I thought DDD would win this fight but was worried I would get some stick.

I'm glad I was proved right.

:TU:

I thought he would win too and was my pick in the poll here. Dubois is on an upward trajectory and though Joshua has won his last four, he's on a downward trajectory from his peak of achievements - the crossroads factor is a huge one and I thought it would count on the night.

Also, Dubois has worked hard on improvement and spent many hours in the gym getting it right and it has shown, I think Joshua might be past that stage and that showed too.

Cus he was B side lol.

These things happen.

Same reason it was billed as AJ-Dubois and not the other way around.
