What's Eddie Hearn saying? I mean, he was declaring AJ the best HW on the planet after he beat a guy from the UFC in spite of losing to Usyk twice.

Wouldn't be surprised if he stills holds the same opinion though  tosser

Haye's comeback chat sounds less unrealistic. Ibeabuchi's been calling out names all year, I'm sure Briggs'd pick up the phone, and even Byrd wants to go again.

The legs can be used as a weapon, apparently. Needed Jim Ross on commentary really.

Drove home from the football.at speed to arrive at 6.45pm ready to buy the ppv however, warrington cacace nearly finished and chamberlain already done so watched the talksport watchalong on youtube instead. Weird how they put such good fights on so early and then had liam gallagher before the main event....

As opposed to the look of getting knocked down then sticking your tongue out at your opponent cockily. Then getting knocked down again and beating your chest like King Kong?
He literally did stick his tongue out at a member of the crowd seconds before being sparked. I don't know why you are seeking to compare him to anyone else this morning, it's not a great ideas, we all saw what happened, again.
I wasn’t comparing him to anyone mick. I was agreeing with you that he looks a bit daft at the mo.

AJ does have form for behaving weirdly when hurt, I vaguely recall similar in the first Ruiz fight

Yes it's still a massive box office fight but the shine is well and truly dulled.
I don't think the fight will happen now. AJ won't be fighting Fury next outing, that's would be ludicrous and any boxing fan would know it would be a cash out job and nothing more.

AJ cannot take a punch to anywhere on his head and Tyson Fury would certainly hit him. Joshua has plumitted as quick as Mike Tyson did and has no resistance anymore.

If he executes the rematch DD will do a number again but in quicker fashion, possibly 2 rounds. AJ would go into a rematch shitting his pants and how could he beat DD? AJ is no dancer and has limited mobility. DD would walk right through him.

It's really hard to see where they can take AJ now? Who could he realistically beat on a ppv show?

Personally, the only fight is with Fury but again that's just a rob the fans fight for a final hurray and a hard knock out. Fury would smash him in similar fashion to DD.

I personally think it was not in AJ's best interests for Hearn to discuss the rematch clause after the fight. It pressures him to take the rematch or get called a duck when I think we can all see that he would need at least one fight before a rematch if he wants any hope of a chance. He'd be better off targeting other opponents and hope Fury loses so he they can both have a retirement fight against each other.

That first round right hand would have beaten 99% of HW contenders. Sort of shot that breaks jaws.

Two Joyce victims are now towards the very top of the tree. Wow! HW boxing is amazing. And it's a different sport to the one I grew up watching in the 1980s. The power these gentlemen can generate is awesome.

What a surprise. I would never expected such a result. I was convinced that Joshua would have won in a few rounds...

MISSED IT . I was on a 3000 klm bike trip , got home tonight , and missed it , , but i did say before somwhere that AJ would smash him , looks like i was well wrong but i was'nt in the minority thats for sure ,
So what is it , is Joshua , just not has good has people thought , DD a lot better , or are both just not that good and AJ has got chinny ,, regardless i don't think from the sounds of it AJ will find a way back from this , he has appeared a bit fragile mentaly for a while now .

Two things for sure though

1- AJ and Fury have pissed about that much they let probably 100 million slip by .

2-- Frank knows how to pick a winner

Add another one , Hearn will still come out with some hardfaced rubbish

A lot of people saying AJ and Fury have pissed a big payday up the wall.

I honestly think even if Fury loses to Usyk that they can still make the AJ v Fury fight and it will sell big and both will make sh1t loads from it.

Agree pretty much everything you say, chap, bar this bit.

Fury does not punch anywhere near hard enough to do AJ, like DD did. Maul and wear him down, possibly, but blast him out?

I can't see that. Ever.

All depends on Usyk-Fury II now. It'll set up Joshua-Fury perfectly if Usyk wins more comprehensively.
I think it's blatantly clear now (as hindsight always does clarify things) just how overhyped the two former Kings and ATGs actually were.

Fury embarrassed by Wallin, Ngannou, and to some extent Wilder given how terrible Wilder proved to be.
AJ being destroyed by Ruiz and now Dubois.

There is no point in Fury and AJ fighting each other now that both have had their level exposed; I doubt very much Turki would want to pay what both AJ and Fury would still demand anyways.

I think Bakole and Kabayel will both get swerved

I'd not let any of my fighters near either

Not that I have any fighters..
