Just as well they have relocated the card, Matchroom have no other confirmed UK shows lined up (apart from being one of many involved in 21st September).
I like this fight for fisher, but it should be an undercard fight.
Fisher needs to be on undercards vs tough journymen and main events vs english levle guys with some ambition....
With this very thin undercard and fisher having mainevented copperbox recently i really cant see this selling out, and that might take some of the shine off fishers little hype train.
They should put dave allen on the undercard in a 6 or 8 rounder. might lose them a little bit of money (couple of thousand nothing bad) with what they need to pay him and his opponent , but it would be a good chance to start building fisher vs allen if that is indeed the direction they want to go.

An example of why every single main event should have a stand in ready either paid on standby or in a co-main fight.

This was the stand by. The main was Dalton Smith.
Ffs forgot about that a stand in for the stand in then. Just scrap the event

They probably have a bare minimum they have to provide here and a load of UK fighters who need to box.
They don't get their fighters out enough as it is, without canceling another whole show.
There's also a show in Sheffield the night before (Mould vs Walsh, Maxi Hughes etc) so this isn't going to break any box office records. That sweet Saudi cash will come in handy to bankroll cards like this.
With Whyte calling out people again mabey you could whack him on here. If he is cleared to fight surely he would want a warm up, rudenko wouldent be bad.
(This will never happen, but it’s where I would go with it)
Whyte would have to be willing to fight for penuts, but it gets him back in people’s mind.

Back to the ticket selling topic… Harper is paying for coaches from her village and from nearby Doncaster to the fight. Everyone buying a ticket will be entered into a £500 cash prize draw. People can buy in cash direct from her on Saturdays at the gym and have a chat, catch up, etc.
