This might be not as much of a fantasy bout, but perhaps a realistic fight for the future, if Bud decides to move to 160 and challenge Lara for the belt.

And, although, I doubt their paths will cross - let's try to predict this one in two different ways:

a) Crawford of today against Lara of 2013 at 154lbs (Lara was holding the same belt that Crawford has today);

b) If Crawford moves to 160lbs and challenges Lara for the WBA Middleweight title.

How it'll go?

Crawford is too dangerous for Lara a 160. My guess is Lara will seek a rematch with Cornflake LaManna. Or wheel-chair bound Paul Williams. At 154 I’d take Crawford by decision, with close scores on judges scorecards

Crawford could take Lara because of his greater offensive skills, and willingness to step on the gas more. Lara is savvy, and skilled enough to hang in there, and get some shots in, but he loses a UD.
