Womens boxing just seems to have lost all momentum now. It was pushed very hard - but just hasn't stuck.

Terri Harper seems a nice enough person, and I hope she is making good money for her future. However seeing her being able to pick up world title belts just shows how poor womens boxing is.

I don't normally watch women's boxing but the Sandy Ryan v Mayer fight was decent. Shown on Sky.

To be fair, Harper has always been worth watching and it's good to see her win this one. She also seems to sell quite a few tickets and is part of the Sheffield boxing scene (spotted Ryan Rhodes on the ring apron afterwards).

As for Rhiannon Dixon, very basic in there last night and only seemed to believe herself late on. Neither of these two are anywhere near world talents if compared to men but they are honest pros who give it a go and are entertaining so will happily tune in. The world title talk does leave me cold though
