Tend to agree with a late Lopez KO. But a great fight. McGuigan would give him a hell of a fight

Great, great fight. It would be incredibly competitive, exciting, and brutal. I could picture McGuigan battering Lopez for many of the rounds, and definitely scoring one or two knockdowns.

But even so, Danny would win by stoppage.

As the fight unfolds, McGuigan - despite winning most rounds - would get rocked, dazed, and staggered from time to time. Whenever that happened, he would lose some of his strength. That's because, by featherweight standards, getting hit by Little Red was like being bashed in the head with a baseball bat.

Sometime between the seventh and tenth, McGuigan would slow down. The moment that happens, Lopez would finish him off. The ending could be a one-punch KO, or maybe Danny pounding a defenseless McGuigan on the ropes. Either way, Lopez wins in style.

Barry McGuigan got a better chance in London, England or Belfast, Ireland if the fight is in one of those places near United Kingdom.

But, outside United Kingdom, it would be all Danny "Little Red" Lopez by knockout in 13 in a war.

Barry wins this on points. He was relentless at his best. But maybe he has to get off the floor to win it.

I wonder if Barry could take Little Red's shots late in the fight. Whoever wins, it would be a war.
