Renke Wittke vs Juan Carilo Novoa

Post by handsofstone »

This Friday on DAZN, Pakistans 2 time world title challenger Waseem squares off against 7-0 South African Cebekhulu over 10 rounds at bantam, Waseem's only losses were decisions in flyweight title fights against Mthalane and Sunny, the latter was his last fight in early 2022 though

He actually pushed Mthalane close and might've dropped/hurt Edwards, are you more impressed with his 14 wins against nobody's??

"He almost didn't lose in one of his losses!"

I think the point is, there's nothing to be very impressed with. Not that the wins against nobodies are important.

Its not there to impress anyone, it's a fact, not everyone might remember Waseem, that might refresh their memory

ya waseem actually did decently against sunny, albeit lost clearly. gave it to sunny good along the ropes at times. floored mthlane and ran him very close too. i dont think anyone's suggesting these are super impressive but they are evidence he can be competitive at a good level. the win over gamiel magramo wasnt bad either

far too inactive though. i see him whining that he doesnt get enough support more than i see him fighting

The main event German heavyweight who calls himself Drago…. Won on stoppage. But against a 42 year old ex light middle who’d been stopped 10 times

The German looks the part physically but the highest he can aim for is to be Timo Hoffman 2.

Wittke stopped Novoa in the 3rd, dominated him, too tall and upright, typical German was Wittke, pit his shots together well, Novoa just succumbed to a couple of right hands, he'd had enough
