OK but it was for a WIBA world title. BoxRec lists WIBA world title results. If you don't include it, BoxRec's listings of WIBA will be incomplete. Wouldn't it make sense to list it with a notation that it wasn't sanctioned by whatever commission is responsible for sanctioning bouts in Wenshan? Maybe you could include it in your "SUB-pro" category. That would allow you to keep your listing of WIBA titles accurate.

The sport is controlled by commissions not sanctioning bodies. Sanctioning bodies involvement is solely in receiving a fee to use their name, it's just marketing for the bout.

Yes, I realize that but BoxRec does list histories of the various sanctioning bodies' title bouts. For the history of WIBA title bouts to be accurate, the August 25, 2024 bout has to be included. The bout took place. Categorize it as "SUB-pro" or, in some way, indicate that it was "unsanctioned" (maybe create a "UNS-pro" category).

The sport would be better off if we all stopped recognizing the sanctioning bodies but, if we're not going to do that, then, if we're keeping records that include them, then we should try to keep those records complete and accurate.

There's only one more thing to do and that's to add that "Women's International Boxing Association World Super Flyweight (vacant)" under the bout. That will keep BoxRec's listings of WIBA title bouts up-to-date.
