Usyk’s win over Fury?
Yeah, he's ranked 1st. Usyk also has two wins over Joshua. Who else should be ranked 2nd based on a better win than Dubois has?
Agree, Usyk is clear #1, and Dubois has the 2nd best win as well. Certainly, by the manner of it.

Since Dubois lost to Usyk, DDD has had three good wins
Usyk (loss to the #1)
Miller (top 15/20 win)
Hrgovic (top 10 win)
Joshua (top 5 win)

Fury's resume is worse over his last 4
Whyte (top 5 win)
Chisora (top 15/20 win)
Ngannou (win over debutant)
Usyk (loss to the #1)

They are on opposite trajectories.
Nice stats :salut:
Puts it into perspective.

We may get Bakole vs Kabayel likely as an IBF eliminator.. on the Usyk-Fury card.

So Bakole/Kabayel winner vs Dubois/Joshua 2 winner. Some decent fights ahead for the IBF.

That also suggests Parker vs Zhang 2 on the card too.

Good fight, but I’d feel bad for Agit if he loses this close to a title shot. Bakole vs Zhang would’ve been great.

Needs to fight first.. and even then. Depends on who he fights and the result. We can then vote on him.

Yeah, welcome addition to the division but he's got the same heavyweight record that any of us do: 0-0.

Not convinced Lawrence would get by anyone in the top 10. I think Chisora would probably beat him, Based on recent form.

I believe this probably warrants a vote on wardly…

And there is no significant heavyweight action booked till December so probably a b it long to wait…

That’s my view anyway.

AJ Dubois 2 allegedly in Saudi in Feb. After the manner of their first meeting I don’t see a different result … one fighter is 27 and seemingly on the way up, the other 34 and seemingly on the way down.

Well he's 1-0, he beat Rozanski. Unless we are believing in Bridgerweight, you fight a 225 lb boxer at 225, you're a HW fighting a HW. He's the same weight as Usyk.

Yeah but Usyk's opponent is not limited in weight. Also, would anyone rank Okolie in the top 15 for beating Rozanski?

and to answer the last question. Absolutely not!

So that ends that debate :TU:

I have him in my top 10. He can beat a lot of these guys IMO. I also don't believe in the ring magazine way of thinking that mandates a fighter face someone before ranking them in a new weight class. If they're committed to be there, ranking them isn't a problem.

The moment Usyk decided to move up, he was already top 3~5. Same with Crawford, etc etc...

Now, if there's a rule stating that I can't do that, Ruthless, then, I won't rank him. I'll wait. But, I stand by what I believe.

Being locked into one of if not the biggest fight of his career, I would wait until after it's settled.

If by some reason the fight gets cancelled and he suddenly moved up, I'd say #3. Usyk and Daniel at 1 & 2 respectively.

All of this changes, of course, if & how he loses to Ramirez.
