Found this today in the Keys News (Key West, FL, USA). From October 12, 1915: Boxers Jake Abel and Hugh Ross fought a match at the San Carlos called “one of the cleanest fights ever pulled off in Key West.” The tight, 10-round battle was declared a draw. The bout is not listed on Jake Abel's record.
