Hearn and Warren both agree Bivol won by a few rounds. Hearn is fuming.

I did and I’m £85 up. I’ll take the money but if I’m totally honest it was as razor sharp as it gets.

Beterbiev's always been cosy with that Chechyan dictator who's Putin's mate yet it was Bivol who the WBC banned and wouldn't allow to fight for their belt

Very difficult fight to score IMO. A lot of shots blocked, parried or closely missed. Bert came forward, Bivol mixed it up. Very tough fight to score.

Agree a point either way I wouldn't argue to much .. beterbiev by 4 seems very wide

We’re getting bogged down in the details I think…

What a fight man! Did you all enjoy it or what? This is what happens when the best fight the best I loved every second of it.

I didn't score it, just enjoyed the fight. think the draw or either fighter by a point is fine. Not sure about the 116-112 scorecard, which seems too wide.

But I don't have a problem with Bert winning. And the whole fight was very very close. Only a couple of clear rounds for either fighter.

The DAZN commentary were pretty Bivol-biased, unsurprisingly.

I will watch it back tomorrow with the sound off and score it.

I loved the fight.
I'd of loved the decision if it was a draw

Why should the Canadian guy face issues just because of Putin? ;-)

This looked like more of a political win, but despite leaning towards Bivol, Beterbies showed a great will to win, and hopefully we will get a rematch of this historic bout.

79 kgs finally having an undisputed after Roy Jones jr!

116-112 definitely feels too wide on the face of it, but it's only 2 rounds different to how I scored it and lots of the middle rounds especially were so close, it's honestly a toss-up on what you like. No robbery here.

The Sky comms were similar. It’s like some of these guys don’t want to have to deal with a close fight, so they stick with the guy who has edged out an early lead.

It was a good high-level fight. I think both men will watch it back and wish they'd done things a little differently.

For beterbiev, he should have done more work to the body much sooner. His corner was asking for it. Started to have success later in the fight when he started to do so which slowed down Bivol's legs.

For Bivol, he seemed a bit gun shy in the championship rounds. He didn't close the show in a very dominant way, looked like he was trying to coast it thinking he'd done enough.

I had it a draw, but I thought the last few rounds were all beterbiev coming forward and applying pressure so not too shocked by the result.

Terrific fight between two exceptional fighters with contrasting styles. Had Bivol by a round or two.

Also surprised neither guy really committed to body shots, thought they might be key in this fight but maybe just too cautious to what was coming back.

Fast car is a poor loser.

I remember him defending Barratt when he was gifted a decision against Kiko Martínez, now he is chucking his toys out over a damn close fight.

FW must love Saudi, Shalom and Hearns not so much!

I think most of us would find it hard not to get too involved in a big fight and occasion like that.

I suppose all participants have earned a few more quid than they would have alternatively….. everyone’s a winner and hail the Excellency and the Kingdom of Saudi money. ;-)
