after 5 rounds i saw scores from 5-0 bivol to 3-2 bert, first two bivol won clear then it started getting a lot harder to score. i dont have a problem with bert winning tbh

after the third i think the only round bivol won clear was the 9th

Well it looks like I had that all wrong.

I had 7-5 at least to Bivol.

Fair play to both fighters. Great bout, top level skills.

Can't wait til Ben Whittaker gets a hold of Beterbiev :bag:

It's not like I had me notepad and pen out! I score live fights with +/- (unless they become really exciting or dull), so had Bivol +3 into R4 and then +2 after etc.

The margins were tiny at times in the middle third, and I think Bert's chin downplayed Bivol's clean shots with the judges throughout. Once he could no longer jar Bert's head he lost every round, deserved or not.

Nowt, but I'd still give it legs from that one!

Bivol won. At least a draw, but no way for Beter.

Having a good chin, and your opponents shots not being damaging, that’s cheating? If you can’t hit them hard enough and they hit you harder you’ve won a round!

His chin downplayed his opponents best work?

What a useless pundit Nicola Adams was - zero insight and very short answers, contributed nothing. At least Andy 'Whittaker is the future of boxing' Lee added some comedy value.

You can’t tar them with the same brush man. Andy Lee needs to be investigated by the authorities for his fashion choices, he’s giving me notion sickness.

Nicola was shite like. Thought Barry and Darren was brilliant as always.

Liam Smith (Scouse bias) was really pragmatic and earnestly analytical about a few people who’d beat him or his brothers I thought, while we’re here.

No he wasn’t. You have to distinguish the confidence based on power/chin and technical superiority, better defence, winning exchanges, winning rounds (Bivol). There’s absolutely no fking chance Bet won more rounds.
Disagree Bert walked him down effectively after round 2 imo

The mix of people at these Saudi shows is surreal, isn’t it?

Kadyrov and Ronnie O’Sullivan next to each other at the urianal.

I'm not sure what that means, but she a b*tch.

We don't, I'm just basing my opinion on the facts available online. Obviously, we don't know the full story, but from what we can see, she's coming off as the toxic one by exposing all his injurys and what not before the biggest fight of his life.

Turki wants to do the rematch, by the way.
Seems like he felt Bivol won. So not even our boi Turki can buy the judges.

True.

What’s a few mil to him when he’s putting on these shows.

I watched it again this morning. Bert looks to have definitely lost a step, but that may have been Bivol's movement.

Bivol fought differently as well. Gone were those machine gun straight punches down the pipe like we saw against Canelo. He was punching round the guard and hooking far more than usual.

I'm wondering whether I gave Bivol more success than the actually had due to not expecting him to do as well as he did. Maybe a draw would have been the right result

And the fact Bert wasn’t able to stop him?

I wasn’t shocked that it didn’t end in a stoppage. This was listens 1a v 1b

Look at her initial reaction. She was gutted, then pretends she was happy he lost.

Do we know she was gutted? What did she actually say? Any translators
