I have him in my top 10. He can beat a lot of these guys IMO. I also don't believe in the ring magazine way of thinking that mandates a fighter face someone before ranking them in a new weight class. If they're committed to be there, ranking them isn't a problem.
The moment Usyk decided to move up, he was already top 3~5. Same with Crawford, etc etc...
Now, if there's a rule stating that I can't do that, Ruthless, then, I won't rank him. I'll wait. But, I stand by what I believe.
Ring aren't the only ones that do that. Why rank someone if they've never fought at that weight?
Even after Usyk's HW debut against Witherspoon, he still wasn't ranked.
Just because you think he can bear a lot of those guys, doesn't mean he can. There's no rush in ranking boxers.
He's obviously moving to HW. Let's see what he does. All the best to him..
CBS ar #3 though
-All boxing rankings are subjective. Subjective to who you think is better and/or produced better results. Some are just more agreed upon than others. Objective rankings would be like the NBA or NFL, solely based on win-loss and tie breaking stats. Of course I don't know if he can. Nobody knows anything about the future except it'll continue with or without us.
-I don't care if publications and magazines rank them or not. Sanctioning bodies rank them, and so do I. Again, I don't believe that fighters must "start over" or "prove themselves" at a new weight class if they've already shown their skill & productivity elsewhere. If a fighter wants to jump head first into the most difficult fight available, that's their choice (Crawford, Spence, Leonard, etc...) and if a fighter wants to take their time and test themselves, again, that's their choice (Usyk, Holyfield, Chavez, etc...).
While I respect weight classes, and I
absolutely respect the difficulty of maintaining and moving weight classes, I don't factor that into my rankings. I trust that a boxer will be at their best based on the information I have from what I've seen. If, later, they prove otherwise, that's okay, my rankings will adjust.
-I've bet against CBS three times in a row

. At this point, I have to realize I have a bias against him. I underestimated him due to the fact that I'm not a big fan of his style. However, I now recognize that he knows how to win. Will he win against Ramirez? I think so, but we don't know yet. Ramirez seems very motivated at the moment to become "legendary" as the only fighter to move up from 168 to Heavy and become a champion. -edit, Mexican fighter I meant, sorry Roy Jones JR and other fighter I can't remember right now
