Yes he can.
In the past, many boxers (W Klitschko, Frazier, Norton, etc.) have taken bad beatings and then came back to have success in subsequent years.
If there's a rematch, Joshua needs to take Dubois more seriously, be more focused and have a better game plan. It won't be easy, but he can win. It's not a good idea to try and outslug Dubois, but Joshua has the skills to outbox him.

He's done, he's probably been more or less done for some time. He's just been held up because it's life on easy mode type of situation for obvious reasons.
He looks fragile now, in every way. I wasn't surprised at all at what happened vs. Dubois, and I say that not because I think I'm perceptive, I'm not. I figure it's obvious. Many people just don't want to see it.

AJ is mentally weak fighter now, while DDD's confidence is sky high. Plus he is getting up there in age. His chin has been cracked a few times. The sweet spot will grow. I think he is in the business now for the money. He is done winning big fights.

He's done mentally. I knew he was done in the prefight gloves off episode. When DDD said he has stopped AJ in sparring AJ picked up a chair to throw at him. That showed me he had no confidence in his fists.

He can still crack Dubois regardless if he is done or not...to echo AJ 'He's shit' is true for me..shame AJ was shitter in the fight...DDD will get spanked soon enough whether it's AJ or somebody else.

Not long ago it was Dubois who was mentally weak and his career was over. Now it's AJ's turn to have the same said about him.
All AJ has to do is keep has damn hands up, and he wins.

Forget about a rematch... rebuild

He came back from the Andy Ruiz loss. So, somehow I think it's within his capacity.

Yes but that was 3 losses ago. He looked mentally weak after the Usyk bout throwing the belt.
The Dubois fight was way worse of a beatdown than the Ruiz fight. I think Joshua could come back but I have serious doubts at this time.
But hell I'm wrong more than I'm right according to my wife

The rematch was made pretty quick and after his huge win Eddie and co rightly knew and saw Ruiz going on a huge bender. He was 284lbs in the rematch… 20lbs heavier than he was for their first fight!tiny_acres wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024, 15:24Yes but that was 3 losses ago. After his loss to AJ Ruiz came back at 255lbs …
Dubois steamrolled a confident AJ who was on a 4 fight winning streak. The victory had nothing to do with AJ having a weak mentality. He may however have some reservations going into the rematch after being blown away.
In Usyk 1 he wasn’t blown away. Even in against Ruiz first time round he had enough success prior to the KO to believe he’d win the rematch.
He had no success against Dubois barring one or two shots that landed, and those didn’t really trouble Dubois… not really

I think he can come back, but not against Dubois. I would still like to see him against Wilder.

No. Well, maybe mentally he's ok, but his reflexes and chin are made for Dub.
