By saying fletcher was poor I think is doing the Latvian a disservice. He looked good in there and showed he wasn’t just there for the paycheck.

Good call finally, Bennett had a good opener but Webb used him as a punch bag the rest of the fight

Terry from Highfield boxing, whom I rate, couldn't help himself with his bias for Bennett. The whole South London bollocks. That was terrible.

This RBS opponent has the most padded record I've ever seen ! #

7 of his first 8 opponents won.... ZERO fights !
The 1 who HAD won a fight - 8 in fact, had lost his last 20 and was 48 years old !

Very impressive from "The Magic Man" - looks a really good boxer.
Nothing obviously special, but lovely technique, accuracy and understanding of when to go for it. Things to still improve on obviously, but should win the LLB outright while learning.
Great finisher too.

Gilley came in to destroy, no feeling out process, just whipped in sickening shots to the body and nailed McGann repeatedly with hard rights to the top, lovely knockdown in the 2nd doubled up the jab and straight right down the pipe put McGann down, McGann actually come alive a bit after getting put down, started putting it on Gilley but round 4 Gilley dipped his legs with a right and never let McGann of the hook, battered him until a couple of rights finally put him down, i was thinking initially ref could've counted but he no doubt saved McGann a heavy KO

First time I've seen him. Very impressed. His style kinda reminded me of Christano Espana.

why was there all this talk of fletcher being some massive hitter btw? 6 stops in 9 low level fights. and at least one of those was basically an out of shape guy being exhausted on his feet. volkavs walked through him, easy work

I mean it as a compliment to his all-round game.
Like, he's not really strong-looking, or super-fast, doesn't dance like Loma - nothing "obvious" like that- just got really good fundamentals and strong on the things you can't see. Great ring IQ.
If he can tighten his defence up a bit, could go a long way..
