Adam Azim vs. Ohara Davies | Sky Sports - 19 October 2024
Re: Adam Azim vs. Ohara Davies | Sky Sports - 19 October 2024
I get why they ducked Smith, unfortunately it's how boxing is, no risky fights unless the money is there.
Let's see if both fight in the future for world titles, they are both gonna take different routes unless Turki puts them together.
Both big talents

OD has grown on me over the years. Seems a genuine nice bloke. Definitely the right time for retirement though.

But Davies was awful.handsofstone wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:04 Really good from Azim, Davies done well in a couple of the early round, was landing his long jab and timing Azim with the right but Azim slowly got to work, his speed is phenomenal, hand and foot, lightening quick jab, was winning the hook exchanges, put Davies down in the 5th with a lovely uppercut to the body, full credit to Ohara though, took his lumps and was winging in shots still trying land a haymaker, Azim systematically broke him down, got the KO in the 8th ,got home first first with the hook, cracked Davies good

Truly terrible. How he had a career in boxing is astonishing. Extremely poor in many areas. Making mistakes all over the place. Can't even throw punches properly. He's just not athletic at all and you saw a huge athleticism gap there but credit to him for hunkering down and having a career in the first place. It's the right time to get out though because he will only take more beatings.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:08But Davies was awful.handsofstone wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:04 Really good from Azim, Davies done well in a couple of the early round, was landing his long jab and timing Azim with the right but Azim slowly got to work, his speed is phenomenal, hand and foot, lightening quick jab, was winning the hook exchanges, put Davies down in the 5th with a lovely uppercut to the body, full credit to Ohara though, took his lumps and was winging in shots still trying land a haymaker, Azim systematically broke him down, got the KO in the 8th ,got home first first with the hook, cracked Davies good

A nothing feeling out R1.
Should be 10-10 but if you had to pick it would be SDA.

How much money do you think Davies made? Must be a couple of mill no? Hopefully he’s paid for a houseTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:15Truly terrible. Edmondson isn't landing anything of note so far, trying to wrestle too much. Azeez 3-0.

Could be anything ?
I'm 2-1-1 to Dan. More eye-catching "Super Mario" flying jabs.
39-38 SDA.

Bit of a snoozer this so far. Aziz is more aggressive but not landing much, Edmondson is mostly fainting and holding

The only good thing about this fight is that I've bet on over 10.5 rounds. Every time they hold, I smile.
