Thought this would be fun. Without picking the very best of a division, here is a list of some random guys and how many Hall of Famers they beat.

Wanted to say that I was using my old Boxing Register Book to look this up. Some of these guys might have more if their opponents were elected after the book came out. i,e Joe Thomas was not in yet.

And some of it was omissions on my part.
Corbett for example, had 5 -Choynski, Kilrain, Sullivan, Mitchell and McCoy.
Still coming up with only 3 for Fitzsimmons -Dempsey, Sharkey, and Corbett. Who am I missing?

I am guessing that you are counting the 6-round no-decision that Boxrec has for Fitzsimmons over O'Brien. I wasn't counting no-decisions. Actually, the Boxing Register has it as O'Brien as winning the newspaper decision! .
Obviously, Fitzsimmons was one of the greats.

Did you read mine? Bob's fight with Joe Choy was really a TKO win, not a draw!.

"But for police interference Bob Fitzsimmons would have signally defeated Joe Choynski last night at the Boston Theatre. The decision was a draw. Joe was the victim of abuse administered by Fitz to such an extent that he was knocked down three times in the last round, and when Sgt. Sullivan and Capt. Warren of Station 4 walked into the arena Choynski was helpless on the ropes. The 5th had gone on 1:40 when it was stopped. Fitz had Choynski on the ropes and ready to give him the last punches when Referee Daly went over and separated the men. This he shouldn't have done, in the opinion of many there. i think I read about this in an old book called "the Legendary Champions". People did think Fitz got hosed. Guess if depends on whether you want to go by the official count or not.
