Mind boggling stuff recently
WBC are fairly sound with the exception of Laurence Okolie`s bizarre insertion at NO.5. ....also Mourad Aliev (12-0) holds the bottom place despite fighting no one of note whatsoever.
WBA continue to stink the place out with Pero, Pulev, and now the untested novice teen Moses Itauma.
Lord knows how much Deandre Savage has paid? And Ivan Dycho is pretty much semi retired.
But maybe the most bizarre inclusion is veteran Mike Perez who hasn't fought at heavyweight for nearly a decade.
IBF have a few poor selections in Chisora, Vianello, and the 11-0 Justis Huni but generally aren't the worst atm (Bakole and Kabayel look to fill the 1 and 2 slots.)
WBO have Huni and Itauma at 5 and 6 for no reason whatsoever. Jermaine Franklin is semi retired.
But by far the most ridiculous ranking of all is the 40yr old promoter Nelson Hysa !!!!
Hysa padded his record with the 50yr old Danny Williams just 2 years ago and is next to be seen fighting in Bethnal Green against an unknown, presumably, 5ft9 Colombian.
More ridiculous alphabet rankings at heavyweight ???

Re: More ridiculous alphabet rankings at heavyweight ???
WBO seem to avoid those from the UK and US while including more from less represented countries, predominantly Asia/AUS/NZ. They also love undefeated records. They also love Warren connected guys which explains Itauma.
WBA is trash and the rankings are bought. They also seemed to have strong connections with Don King despite him being irrelevant in the modern era.
WBC love all US-based and Al Haymon connected guys. It does look slightly different but they still rank Wilder and Ortiz...
IBF is generally ok but often avoid some of the bigger names. They also ruthlessly remove guys who turn down eliminators so there end up being some big names missing.
