10 (or 12 or 15) Rounds Heavyweight Bout
Mercer would be merciless on Bey behind his jabs and body punches to either take a decision or knocking Bey out in 8 rounds with a big left hook and right hand. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Ray Mercer wins. David Bey wasn't impressive at all. At least, I wasn't impressed.

Re: Ray Mercer vs. David Bey
It's a long time since I watched the Holmes fight, but I recall Bey being competitive (against a past prime Holmes) and he was on the verge of stopping Tyrell Biggs on a bad cut which would probably have earned him a shot at Tyson in 87.
But what always makes me chuckle is Reg Gutteridge mentioning the nickname 'Bey of Pigs'.
I think at his best he might have a chance on Mercers worst day.

He lost to Jesse Ferguson, so it's possible.witherspoon wrote: ↑21 Nov 2024, 11:27 It's a long time since I watched the Holmes fight, but I recall Bey being competitive (against a past prime Holmes) and he was on the verge of stopping Tyrell Biggs on a bad cut which would probably have earned him a shot at Tyson in 87.
