Saw this in 3 places... one said 118, another said 122, and another said 126.

Don't think it matters... seems like the right time for a 44 year old to lose a disappointing decision to a lower-tier fighter and ride off into the sunset.

should be a relativley easy fight for Rigondeaux, the only time i saw baluta was when he fought michael conlan. seems like an average euro brawler witth nothing special about him. i think rigo should call it quits, hes 44 and got beat up by a regional level philipino fighter.
to his opponent i cant say much, got some shots in against conlan and lost majority descision.

Baluta has been a very tough test for any young (predominantly) British perspective whose on his way when I have seen him on a allegedly bill against Liam Davies and Dennis McCann who both had very rough nights.

For me Rigo at 44 should have more than in terms of Championship savvy, but does he strength to keep Baluta off home is the real question.

PPV is available for $9.99, with Teofimo Lopez promoted as part of the commentary.

PPV, 6:00 pm ET, Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Dannis Arias. A Miami show put on by “E11EVEN X BOXR,” where BOXR is a Miami area gym and E11EVEN is the sort of swanky nightclub that seems like it wouldn’t let most boxing fans in on anything other than a fight night. This one is dear to my heart, because it’s produced by Rick Tugman, former ProBox director and BLH Explainer interview subject. And because the main event is for a lesser WBC trinket, featuring Guillermo Rigondeaux, still going strong at a Cuban age 44 despite suffering severe cornea injuries in a pressure cooker accident in 2022. Rigondeaux is a traditional Cuban style, but he’ll always be precious to me for inspiring the article that solidified my presence and ongoing employment as a writer here early in my tenure with Bad Left Hook. AND, the undercard features Gabe Rosado, who is not only one of my favorite interview subjects, but also a rising (and exceptionally insightful) boxing commentator, in a fight against former MMA and bare knuckle champion Luis “Baboon” Palomino for a commemorative WBC prize.

Maybe Rigondeaux could take on Inoue..?

Rigondeaux seems like a 118-122 lb version of BHop.

I remember when he fought Loma at 130.
Loma was a bit too big and strong for Rigo.

Amazing how Rigo was 122, then jumped all the way up to 130, and then went all the way down to 118.
He must've started following a special diet. And remained on that special diet.
