Justin Figueroa to face Omar Rosales on November 16
Boxing Insider Promotions will spotlight the future of Atlantic City boxing and honor its past with an event streamed live on DAZN from The Showroom at Tropicana Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on November 16.
Junior middleweight Justin Figueroa, 10-0 (8 KOs) – a member of the AC Beach Patrol – will take on Omar Rosales, 9-3-1 (5 KOs), in a six-round bout. Heavyweight Bruce Seldon Jnr, 3-0 (3 KOs), son of former heavyweight titleholder Bruce Seldon, will face Julio Mendoza, 3-4 (2 KOs), in a four-round bout. Lightweight Francisco Rodriguez, 5-0 (5 KOs), known for his powerful southpaw style, will fight in a six-rounder.
Promoter Don Elbaum, who promoted 196 shows at The Tropicana in the 1980s and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2019, will be honored by fellow promoter Larry Goldberg at the event.
“This event showcases the best young prospects in the region,” Goldberg said, “and we’re thrilled to honor Don Elbaum, who made A.C. a fight town in the ‘80s.”
