Warren turns down Maskaev

Despite what some seem to think Maskeyev is a very tough and seasoned fighter with an awkward style and a big punch... I dont see Skelton beating him... certainly not in Russia... Skelton would probably have a better chance with Valuev... but the fact is none of the champs are an easy fight for Matt.,..

I doubt Matt happily agreed to turning this down. OK, he'd be going over there as the fall guy, but at least he'd have been up against a title holder who's been chinned by some real obscurities.

Would have been fun fight to show live on TV as well: nice guy Matt goes over to take on the fearsome champ in darkest Russia.

Missed out there.
