Re: Andrew Golota vs Anthony Joshua
The old chestnut I am afraid, but needs to be said......which of the 4-5 versions of Golota turns up for a fight with AJ?
It's not an easy night for AJ if he gets the Bowe version of Golota....he could actually get taken out and before Golota finds a way to get himself to get chucked-out.

Andrew Golota would be winning the fight until he does something very, very, very stupid. If no stupidity comes out of him, then he wins comfortably by unanimous decision.

Hard not to disagree with that.....I still don't have a clue what went on in the Bowe fights, did he chuck them for iffy reasons we don't know or just have a screw loose?Andrew Golota would be winning the fight until he does something very, very, very stupid. Golota was a really strange one - he could bring a lot and was arguably the first big Eastern European heavyweight to put the Americans on notice that the division was not their personal play thing any longer - but he ultimately ended-up getting smashed-up for a pay cheque and for an awfully long time.
Re: Andrew Golota vs Anthony Joshua
He honestly seemed to have an issue where he'd kinda begin to panic if he started feeling fatigued. He also quit against Michael Grant in a fight he was doing well in early, but started to unravel once he got tired, and in a different fight he beat his opponent once he started to get tired.Bodyshot3 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2024, 15:11Hard not to disagree with that.....I still don't have a clue what went on in the Bowe fights, did he chuck them for iffy reasons we don't know or just have a screw loose?Andrew Golota would be winning the fight until he does something very, very, very stupid. Most of his fouls came out of desperation. Once he started sucking wind, and getting tired. He just wanted to get the f*ck out of that ring without getting hurt.
Re: Andrew Golota vs Anthony Joshua
Golota was going vulnerable, when he was facing adversity. Theoretically he could KO Joshua before that, because Joshua had never been an iron man, but most likely the methodical Joshua would find an opening first.

I'd need to know which version of each fighter we're talking about.
