Despite him being a Geordie, I really like Cameron Voung, although he needs to work on his power.

I think Yuong might turn out to be one of those 'amazing gym boxers ' who doesn't cra k the pro game to any extent.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑22 Nov 2024, 13:09 Despite him being a Geordie, I really like Cameron Voung, although he needs to work on his power.
P.S ...I'm a geordie Keith, and I'm really likeable...everyone says so.

Well Geordie boy, I'm a Mackem (by way of NZ), so you'll forgive me if I never reply to any of your posts ever again.Stobbo wrote: ↑23 Nov 2024, 07:51I think Yuong might turn out to be one of those 'amazing gym boxers ' who doesn't cra k the pro game to any extent.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑22 Nov 2024, 13:09 Despite him being a Geordie, I really like Cameron Voung, although he needs to work on his power.

Seriously though, Voung's got great speed, punch selection and I think he'll perform better when the level of opponent increases. The power is the issue, but he's young, so it might improve. I know one thing, he's been matched very strongly so far compared to other prospects.
Re: British Boxing Prospects - Who Do You Rate and Why?
I really like the look of Vuong. He's in against Gavin Gywnne next week, which should tell us a lot more

Isn’t Paddy Donovan still a prospect? I hope the Crocker fight happens.

I was one of Sam Hickey's coaches when he boxed as an amateur at Lochee Boys Club ,knew him since he was about 10 or 11 years old,he's grown into a fine young man, level headed and totally dedicated and totally focused hopefully with a bit of luck he can go onto great things,Dundee boxing has been relatively quiet since Ronnie Clark hung up his gloves and Michael Towell ( RIP) passed away

Dan Toward needs to be spoken about more, he's looked quality in every fight so far.

None of them. British boxing is finished for the next decade. We may have a handful of fighters reach the top level, but we're entering the dark day of British boxing.
Our big heavyweight prospects are Fraser the Eraser and Fabio Fraudley. Enough said.

They're not. It's Itauma. A genuine world prospect.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2024, 02:17 None of them. British boxing is finished for the next decade. We may have a handful of fighters reach the top level, but we're entering the dark day of British boxing.

Not all prospects are supposed to go all the way, some of them will only make it to British level and there's nothing wrong with that.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2024, 02:17 None of them. Joe Howarth, good boxer, won Central Area title last night in Oldham on points but dropped his opponent in the second. Young, has an L but just the one and a lot of talent.

Giorgio Visioli looks brilliant for just 21 years old. Only gonna get better too
Re: British Boxing Prospects - Who Do You Rate and Why?
Mathew Boreland - Northern Irish ( Super Bantam)
the sound of his shots are similar to a Inoue obviously not on that level but just how loud the connection is.
