Somebody is gonna have to explain this fight to me
"Evarist unable to continue following a low blow.
The 1st round lasted 4:45"
So ... how come the Prince got the TKO victory if it was a low blow? And why did the first round last nearly 5 minutes lol. How can that even happen, surely somebody must have thought at the four minute mark "this is a bit long, surely"
I'd imagine he was given time to continue, but decided not to.
If the low blow wasn't intentional, and the ref thought he was acting, it could be deemed an injury and TKO win.
UK has two more 'world' champions to celebrate today. I've never heard of Tony Bange but he's evidently following the Prince Patel playbook to accumulate titles in Africa...
Prince Patel, from London in the United Kingdom, captured the vacant UBO world Welterweight title when co-challenger Maxwell Awuku didn't come out for round seven.
Patel is now 32-1-2 (27). Awuku goes to 50-6-1 (34).
United Kingdom´s Tony Bange took home the vacant UBO world Super Middleweight title when late substitute Theophilus Ofrei Dodoo retired on his stool after seven rounds, claiming a leg injury.

not even RJJ got the UBO belt, what an achievement

I think he won a UBO title in one of his last bouts, will have to check. Roy loved a belt!
Mate of mine who had about twenty or so fights on EBF shows was once due to fight for the UBO Cruiserweight titie at the Queen's Hotel in Leeds, the opponent disappeared after weigh in so he ended up doing a three rounder against his sparring partner and the 'title' was no longer at stake.
If I recall correctly I think the sanctioning fee and belt were about £150.00 each.
