That's not true. I just recognized the amazing feat done by the great Roberto Duran!

I don't think that there has been a fighter as the underdog 4 times in 4 different weight classes and won all the fights being the underdog.

Pretty sure he wasn't the favourite against Ken and he won the fight with an illegal blow.

I love Ken Buchanan, but he got a real ass whupping by Roberto Duran.

The point is, Duran magnificently won all of his four world title fights being the underdog in all four. Amazing? Yes! A big yes!

It was a low blow, no mistake about it! But, the referee, Johnny Lo Bianco thought otherwise. An awarded TKO win for the great Roberto Duran! The rest is history!

First bout was definitely quite a shocker.
I seem to remember most people seeing that first bout as a fluke though, and therefore leaning towards Hearns to redeem himself in they're 4 years later rematch.

With the Danny Lopez-Salvador Sanchez bouts, Lopez was the fairly wide favorite going into they're first bout.
I don't think that Sanchez was a heavy favorite going into they're return bout.
I seem to remember that The odds were relatively close to 50-50 for they're return bout. Sanchez was only very slightly the favorite.

Antonio Tarver-Roy Jones Jr
I realize that Jones Jr won they're first bout, but really actually, he didn't Beat him.
It could've gone either way, with the decision in They're first bout.
Tarver obviously felt that he should've gotten the nod on the cards for they're first bout.
It definitely transferred into rather emphatic confidence on his behalf going into that rematch..!
Tarver, to the ref...: Yeah, I got a question, Got anymore excuses Roy..!!??

I don't know if both were upsets exactly. I know it was definitely an upset when Mayorga beat Forrest the first time, and even if it technically wasn't an upset for him to win a rematch, I think almost every Boxing insider would've been shocked if you had told them going in that Mayorga is gonna win a decision in the rematch. So the odds may have still been long on a Mayorga decision win in the 2nd fight.
