Felix Trinidad v Ike Quartey 1999 12 Rounds
Felix Trinidad v Ike Quartey 1999 12 Rounds
It was in the works but never happened. Who would have won.
Re: Felix Trinidad v Ike Quartey 1999 12 Rounds
I gotta favor Tito in this one. Ike would give him a damn good fight as he almost always did, but I suspect TIto would probably be able to drop him once or twice, and eke out a close decision. It's not out of the question Ike could drop Tito too which could definitely tighten up the scorecards. I think this one is likely going the distance, and gonna be a close call though.

If Quartey fought a smart, scientific fight, he would win. Trinidad was in trouble when the other guy did this.
However, if he tried to make it a slugging match, Trinidad would win, though it could get dicey.
It would probably been a little of both. Too bad it never happened.

Either Tito takes a decision or stopping Quartey in the late rounds.
