Who’s watching

Post by JackGlad »

Read some old threads on here as I was looking for some info on someone for a few fights I’ve been approached about and realised how many people from within Boxing used to post here obviously I still read and occasionally post but I wonder who else in Boxing at any level does.

David Haye reads the place.

Same with

Johnny Nelson’s
Arnie Farnell
Jon Pegg
Steve Wood
George Groves
A number of referees & BBofC officials
The Smith brothers
Liam Cameron
Chris Aston
Tom Dallas (matchmaker Matchroom)
Tony Bellew
Johnny Eames

Certain members of Queensbury

I can’t prove it but think Fast Car does

Tommy Gilmour & Frank Maloney used to

Met Gimour in November as he was out of Boxing before my time never had before can only speak as I find but was a nice guy most current promoters or matchmakers I’ve spoke to although possibly just in passing interesting to hear they look in on Boxrec so I’m not alone in doing it then.

I suspect lots do, Boxrec is so well known.

I wonder if Billy Nelson does? He used to post on BoxingNews24.

I would pf thought a lot would at least read box rec and a few other sites. .
,especielly promoters and even more so promoters who are social media savvy , if for nothing else to guage what the public think of certain fighters , worth following or not, perfect example are Whittaker and Benn , there disliked so much that any promoter worth there salt are going to know people will pay to see them lose . Hence keep them winning

How many times have you heard promoters say social media is full of cretins who don't know nothing , and there not interested in what them cretins say or think , because they don't do social media ,

Yet they seem to know what the cretins who know nothing say
