Of course he would be more prepared but it says to me that they never had the confidence in him to do it, straightforward fight with the pentacontinentals and cash out.
The fella has earned a few million.
That would have never happened with him doing the traditional route.
So he was well managed ultimately?
For me the best ever, a multi millionaire, and I think he was never good enough to say he was the best in europe
That’s a fair statement. Leave with money and your faculties has to be the aim of becoming a pro boxer.

Hatton was fantastically managed too

But that was to develop him into a man who could win titles

FW knows his onions
Bruno best managed fighter ever. Cooney the worst.

TBF I get it. But would a more prepared Yarde have been more successful? He almost Kod Kovalev remember. With ire experience he could’ve won maybe?

well managed to me sounds like " protected "

and if he was well managed by FW then yarde is showing a poor level of loyalty .

Cooney the worst? In terms of being ready for a fight with an ATG heavyweight, maybe. In terms of leaving with your faculties and money, he was well managed.

He should’ve made more money if he’d been better managed.

Hatton was managed by his dad at one point who stole a load of money from him.

He started working with Gareth Williams which helped a lot financially and Paul Speak did a good job with him.

He was promoted extremely well by Warren.

Yarde frustrates me that much, his bizarre career, Tunde, the whole nonsense makes me forget how much I rate him, I almost dismiss the Kovalev and Beterbiev fights, he needs a win, a 50/50 fight, Buatsi or something

Mostly fought at area level, looked great, went into the lions den in Russia, earned big, was a worthy challenger

2 round job. SMW vs powerful LH.

Saw an interview with Yarde and all he kept banging on about was 'keeping busy', as if he knew he would just have the usual cannon fodder put in front of him to smash in a round or two.

It is a shame somewhat, as he has ability and power but is just coasting along, until there is a title shot and then, hope he can pull it off.

He has made money, which is what it is, ultimately, about.

On IFL yesterday they had Pat Barrett and Tunde together. Sounds like they’re trying to make the trilogy with Yarde and Lyndon Arthur.

These guys play the rankings. Beat mostly average guys, fight each and end up WBO mandatory.

I’m not fussed by the fight at all.

Tunde telling Barrett to accept the offer yet Barrett saying they haven’t had an offer and that Shalom isn’t answering them. Bit of a mess.

Tunde also saying how Buatsi turned down the fight with Yarde. Yet we know it was Yarde who didn’t take the fight originally when they were looking to do a Sky/TNT PPV. Both Frank and Shalom said Buatsi had signed for it.

Yarde/Tunde were completely dumb messing FWarren around when Frank is the promoter of choice with Turki.

If Call and Buatsi are busy, there's not much left for Yarde in terms of British boxers. Hutchinson just lost, Ezra Taylor hasn't got much of a profile. I don't mind the Lyndon Arthur fight.

The first fight was competitive I think mostly due to Yarde’s headspace and poor corner work. He showed the difference between himself and Lyndon in the rematch.

Yarde doesn’t have to fight a Brit. He could face someone else who is pretty highly ranked rather than going over old ground.

I don't think the maths would add up for Shalom to bring over a top opponent and Beterbiev, Bivol, Benavidez and Morrell are all busy. Virtually all the non Brits are unknown here, so it would be Yarde vs 12-0 on the poster if you know what I mean. They won't take a risk with him against Imam Khataev, so if it's not Lyndon, it's Robin Krasniqi.

Perhaps I’m in a minority but I just think the Arthur fight is one sided and will be repeat of their last fight.

I’d rather he fought Louis Edmondson, Conor Wallace, Albert Ramirez, Ali Izmailov or even if they tried to get Gvozdyk over.

I'd rather he fought the other names, but Edmundson is the only one that's financially viable IMO.

Seen this too.

Don't mind the trilogy.

Was a good first win for Arthur, but we all know what was going on in the background with Yarde and yh the corner work was shocking!

As you said, the rematch, Arthur was no match really.

Been a couple of years hasn't it..

If they can't get another fight, then just give us the 3rd.

If that’s the case it’s even crazier to leave Frank who last year brought Beterbiev over.

He seems to have aligned with Sky yet they can’t afford Ali Izmailov or Albert Ramirez?

That's just my opinion. I don't see Yarde vs Izmailov or Ramirez as a main event, selling out the Copper Box's 7,500 seats. Not without a stonkingly good undercard.. If he was still with Fwank he could have been a part of one the Magnificent Seven bills.

Tunde and his thirst for the limelight, along with his amateur management skills has cost Yarde the peak of his career and possibly millions of dollars.

He must have a grip on Yarde. Why else would he stick with him?
