It's way too heavy for Crawford
It'll happen at Middleweight

This fornicating forum. It's like people compete to come up with the stupidest things possible sometimes.
No, Alvarez isn't going back to 160 ever again.
That should be obvious.

Crawford should take the Middleweight titles though before fighting Canelo. I say that only because from the looks of it, it wouldn't be that hard to do.

Crawford isn’t light. He was 170 fight night last fight…. If you had it at 168 craw would likely be 175 lb with an easy water cut. not somthing I would traditionally say is chronically undersized. Would also have the height and reach advantage.

Craw was an insane weight bully at 135, which is well within his rights, but I think the fact he was there at all makes people think he is small.

Agreed. MW is dead, and I think Crawford could probably do it. Dependent on how that goes, then can think about Canelo.

At middleweight, I think Crawford would be a comfortable favourite over Alimkhanuly, Eubank, Adames and Lara. Sheeraz will be interesting solely down to the size difference.

At super middle, without time to embed himself into the weightclass and adapt to the size difference, Crawford might struggle with the top guys.

Craw is old. And has never really had the strongest backing. He could probably go undisputed at 154…

He could skip the rest of 154 probably go undisputed at 160 too.

He could make millions fighting canelo Mabey at 168 Mabey 165….

But he can’t do it all.

I personally think if the canelo fight is there he should take it, but if it’s not he should cherry pick a weak 160 belt asap and then try fight canelo (if he is a 160 champ the jump in weight won’t seem silly).

I'd Love to see Crawford take on Murtalaziev.

Murta seems huge for 154. He should go up to 160, and Crawford can move up too.

The winner could then take on Canelo at 168.

It's a one off, who gives a care.
Canelo should come down, it's a huge fight.
Not like Crawford isn't making a sacrifice.

- Won't happen at all. Canelo vs Bena for WBC LH is what Turki wants if Bena gets past Morrel which is likely.

Craw death at the gate and ppvs. Arum has been losing $$$ from day one all these years. Not even a shot Spence could help him.

160? Why not 154 where Canelo won his first title? Better, let's make Canelo 15 when he weighed around 140... :TU:

Where did you hear of this ?
Canelo just lost at 175 against Bivol.
Not saying I don't like Canelo v Benavidez.

There's a lot of options kicking around.
