Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Ebenezer Tetteh | DAZN - 15 December 2024
Tetteh just told the ref, this is the last round.

How has the ref called it off
Smith also said that Whyte had won every round. Not sure about that. Forgot how biased he was towards the home fighters

Whyte was ahead on points but there was a possibility he could have gassed out.
So I was surprised the fight got called off.
Whyte reverted to jab and move, Tetteh wasn't getting beat up

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Ebenezer Tetteh | DAZN - 15 December 2024
was Tetteh shaking his head because he'd had enough or because he disagreed with ref's decision? He couldn't swing his arms anymore at that point anyway after throwing that flurry of fresh air uppercuts early in the fight. He was just stumbling after Whyte and being hit. impressive all the same. seemed impervious to Whyte's punches (although he was marking up badly).

Glad Adam Smith got over cancer, so I think it's time for him to spend more time with his family and concentrate on his wellbeing
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Ebenezer Tetteh | DAZN - 15 December 2024
The younger guys looking to take the step up like Jalolov and Huni should be ringing up Turki to face Whyte, they'd box his ears off after that performance.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Ebenezer Tetteh | DAZN - 15 December 2024
Whyte done enough to sell his name to an upcomer in a "big fight".
Itauma ? Wilder ? or Jonny Fisher..?

Whyte vs Wilder or Ruiz for the title of top heavyweight outside the top two between the Klitschko and Usyk eras? Coincidentally Whyte and Ruiz have fallen off while Wilder was exposed.

Whyte should be able to manage himself an Arabian night payday.

How he managed to steal a living is beyond me. Sky Box Office against Oscar Rivas.

Rematch with Chisora PPV aswell.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑16 Dec 2024, 01:03How he managed to steal a living is beyond me. Sky Box Office against Oscar Rivas.
Hearn and Sky built him up big. Was never even a world champion and headlining ppvs. He became popular.

That was an enjoyable fight. Tetteh could be good for Fisher. As for Whyte, he's good for another payday as a name opponent. Maybe against Zhang?

The biggest red flag against AJ for me was the Whyte performance. Feel free to look back on here, I said at the time that Whyte wasn't up to much.

Whyte not being up to much reflects on the entire division. His record comfortably put him top 5 until Usyk and the new wave of heavyweights reached world level. His wins over Parker, Povetkin and Chisora x2 were better than anything Wilder or anyone else like that did. His game plan and performance against Fury were atrocious and make it difficult to argue for him but he was definitely worthy of being WBC number one contender for so long when you consider what everyone else was up to.

Makes you wonder with the various failed tests over the years just how many of his performances were “boosted” and this latest one was his natural self which is to be knackered after a few rounds.

Parker was unlucky, Pov knocked him clean out and Del went life and death twice.joshj909 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2024, 04:33 Whyte not being up to much reflects on the entire division. I never really rated him either, but he I can't ignore the Parker win, stopping Chisora and avenging Povetkin. I quite often picked him to lose and he would invariably win, which means I underrated him.mickey1975 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2024, 05:26Parker was unlucky, Pov knocked him clean out and Del went life and death twice.joshj909 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2024, 04:33 Whyte not being up to much reflects on the entire division.
