Usyk outboxes Haye for a decision victory behind his southpaw jabs and combinations.

I figure they're able to fight on even terms for the first 3 or 4 rounds or so. Usyk's superior craft, and Ring IQ starts to show as the fight goes on though, and the gap becomes wider and wider until either the fight ends, and he takes a UD or stops Haye late in the bout.

Usyk isn't a thunderous hitter so I'd lean toward the UD here.

david haye is the saviour. who will dethrone the klitschkos and bring nothing but excitement to the hw division. he definitely will not lose feebly to wlad or be involved in 2 of the worst fights ive ever seen

that said, usyk would figure him out and get through any rough patches to most likely win a decision, possibly an accumulation/exhaustion tko

I liked Haye, loved to watch him.
But I can't see him beating Usyk at Cruiser or HW tbh.

Don't get me wrong, Hayemaker was darn good but simply not as good as Usyk is.

David's wins over Mormeck and Valuev - both on the road - can't be ignored. They're significant and his record is really only harmed by the Bellew 'catchweight' fights when he was slipping away, needed to cash out.

But Usyk is not getting rushed by Haye at CW and he possibly walks onto a big shot himself, and Usyk has assuredly beaten the better opposition at HW and is not going to get rushed or physically bullied again.

As a yardstick, I can't see Haye beating Fury but Usyk has (may do so again).

That does not make a lousy fighter btw, it is simply a case of the exceptional Usyk being one level-up in terms of ring tactics, physical ability and a mental hardness.

Maybe a very early, huge David bomb - and he had plenty - upsets things.
But is Usyk actually standing there, ready to be caught cold? Almost certainly not.
