I’d love to see Dave Allen do well, he’s local to me & is genuinely a good guy but he’s turned up to Saudi Arabia with Nigel Travis as his cornerman even though he’s been in Doncaster throughout the last couple of months & hasn’t been working with Travis at all.

It seems like he’s trained himself. I backed Fisher in rounds 1-5. He’s got fast hands for a big lad & I don’t think Allen will have had the kind of sparring he needs for a fight like this.

He's sparred my pal in Manchester a few times. He even makes videos with Vuong. I think he openly admits he's been splitting his time between the two places.

This always was just a grab of the Saudi petro dollar.

I was shocked when some on here were giving Allen any kind of chance.

Wonder if he's got a bet on the side , on this one. i predict he'll maul and brawl and wrestle his way to the 4th rnd at a reasonable to slow pace he'll do 4 rnds just of experience and knoledge quite easy , then go down from a couple body shots and /or sheer exhaustion .Definetly can't see no fight to the death here

Only riyadh season could bring together Romford's Fisher and Yorkshire's Dave Allen.

How else could it ever have happened?

Yeah, that's what he does at weigh ins.

What's more striking to me is the difference in height. Allen's meant to be 6' 3" and Fisher 6'4" but there looks a much bigger difference in height in that photo.

Levi Pattison of Hunslet stopped Nicky Cook in the ABA final. My friend and occasional poster on here, Tijuana1 was boxing for Hunslet at the time so I watched Levi most nights. He was some boy, Levi.

Sticking out or not, that’s not a particularly healthy gut there. That’s a proper beer/hi carb belly

Yeah I think he’s pushing his gut out a bit, when he first walks up to be weighed his stomach doesn’t look as big as it does in that photo.

This guy should've been thrown out of boxing after the Darche farce. I hope gets flattened in a round and soundly mocked by everyone watching.

saw him fight a spoiler on the Kell Brook v Bizier undercard in Sheffield. And I can honestly say he's one of the worst fighters I've seen live. Surprised he's still around.
