Just last time they were proudly parading about 7 belts. Is the wba now a black belt, as that is the colour of the third belt in the turki vid.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Dec 2024, 05:463 belts is right. On a side how many belts on the line this time, I thought it would be for all minus the ibf. But Turki has done a social media post, suggesting 3 belts only? Is Pulev the only wba champ?
WBA, WBO and WBC.
They don’t really count ring, lineal and IBO.

100 % saudis and warren + others trying to game a win for fury here ... trilogy fever or simple favouritism ,,,,,,Alba wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024, 17:57 One thing is that we don't seem to have the usual circus with his arsehole of a dad on the scene
Also it does seem the "establishment " backed by some Saudi corruption are desperate to rewrite history and trying to make it out like the first one was a 50/50 and are desperate for Fury to win

There has been a lot of revisionism regarding the fight, although some people were adamant at the time that it was the knockdown that won it for usyk.stujones wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024, 09:00I think a 3 point Usyk win is really the tightest it can be, can see at very very best. 7 rounds to 5 with a 10-8 round.Controversial wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024, 08:50 I had Fury 4-2 up after 6 but had it 115-113 Usyk at the end
I think the widest for Usyk could be 10-2. I personally give Fury 4, 5 and 6. But the 4th wasn’t clear. Likewise my revised card I’ve given the 7th to usyk but originally gave that to Fury.
I really do struggle to give any other round to Fury, but maybe the one of the opening 3 rounds, but I really cannot see it.
Much like you, I gave fury 3 rounds so I’m hoping usyk takes the stoppage opportunity if it presents itself again. Those judges are looking to give it to fury

will the big beard absorb the punches tonight?
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II | PPV - 21 December 2024
I am a Usyk fan but Tyson I think under the beard and obvious layers at the weigh in is great shape. He outboxed Usyk in parts of the last fight. This time in better shape, lighter and faster he is going to fight a smart controlled fight and just go for a point’s victory which if close we all know is going to Fury. Rubber match in May next year.

If Fury doesn't make the fight an ugly slugfest, it's tough to fancy an outcome different from the previous one, but Fury can make adjustments. It's still close to a 50/50 matchup.

You're not wrong. It was a clear win for Usyk in my eyes and many.
Can't find a way to score it for Fury.
to me, it's one and done.
But it's boxing and the fact they already thinking about trilogy, makes me think that's what they will go.
I’m seeing people make out Fury was cruising to victory until Usyk pulled some miraculous punch from nowhere in the 9th round.
Also suggestions that it was a fight of two halves & that Fury ‘dominated’ the first half of the fight. I remember loads of people including myself having Usyk winning the first 3 rounds.
What they’re telling us happened & what actually happened are worlds apart.![]()
Bunce & Woodhall did a watch back of the first fight for the BBC podcast. Bunce declared after 3 rounds that you could easily score all 3 to Fury. I thought, yes you could if you’re blind

Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II | PPV - 21 December 2024
Have to be honest. This fight is nowhere near exiciting as the first.
I feel like we all know Usyk is the better boxer. And the noise is all from casual British boxing fans who want to see how Fury does in a rematch, has he actually trained, is he mentally up for it. Will he do any showboating this time. He's like a loose cannon and thats what drives interest. The british boxing media coverage has been so painfully biased as well, you would think he lost by a thread when he was soundly beaten by a smaller man.
It's a real shame and an example of boxing corruption that Usyk has to beat AJ and Fury twice. Four bouts in all just because he's the foreign kid. Yes he gets a bit more money out of it but its just madness to me.

I think a lot of this kind of talk has to do with Fury and his teams divaish behaviour, they don't take criticism well at all and the Journos need access to him.a force wrote: ↑21 Dec 2024, 09:14Incredible revisionism.KiwiRider wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024, 21:30Teddy Atlas saying Fury won the first 7-8 rounds!a force wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024, 08:20

I have a ten kilo vest that I bought in Argos that I have worn under a jacket numerous times without people noticing and I am 5 9. You can clearly see Fury had a thick white garment on under his jacket.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑21 Dec 2024, 10:11You think he was wearing clothes etc that weighed more than 19lbs?Ketchel wrote: ↑21 Dec 2024, 07:48 I am a Usyk fan but Tyson I think under the beard and obvious layers at the weigh in is great shape. Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II | PPV - 21 December 2024
The momentum was completely with Fury until he got his nose broken in the 8th. If he can work behind the jab and the uppercut and work the body (which really seems to slow Usyk down), without getting hurt like last time, I think he'll win on points fairly comfortably. The extra sparring he's done for this one will help with reflexes and help him stay out of the way.
That's what I'm going for, probably totally wrongly.
