Now Fury twice.

Just beat Dubois twice as well
Nah, Dub's fresh and Usyk's already a few steps down the hill. Let Usyk retire and Dub can fight the rest for the belts.

Re: scoring, 7-5 Usyk is the most generous I could be to Fury. I also had it 8-4. Usyk landed far more clean shots, especially to the body, with the rounds I gave to Fury coming from effective physical pressure as much as hard shots.

I felt they landed about as many powershots as each other until the championship rounds, where Usyk underscored his lead with salvos to Fury's bruised eyes.

i mean who is all the interesting for usyk at this point? maybe the kabal-zhang winner but its a pretty short list id say
He should just retire. Proved everything, nothing left to do, locked in hall of famer. Scrapes top 10 heavy all time maybe.
Usyk should defo retire - enjoy his money health and legacy, there is nothing left to prove.
But if he doesn't.., what have you got against Usyk vs DDD ?? :maybe:
Would be good, Dubs improved, Usyk aging... it's a good fight.
what id have against it is we already saw it. just last year. and it was lopsided stoppage

whats with the rematch obsession on clear wins? let's have something new at minimum. why waste usyk's limited time we have him left for stuff like that

That extra fat really worked out for Fury.

I had it exactly the same as the judges and Sergio, 116-112.

Fury is a terrible loser for the second time.

DDD shows zero class

Fwank has embarrassed himself again.

Parker, Kabayel, Zhang, Bakole, Opetaia depending on results
usyk vs parker or bakole has 0 interest for me. an atg vs b tier

the zhang-kabayel winner would be credible but still it's kinda eh after usyk been in with aj and fury. can you imagine zhang plodding after usyk for 12 rounds?

opetai would be the one i want. someone who may even be faster than usyk and is fresh.
If Parker beats Dubois then it's a undisputed unification. If Kabayel beats Zhang then he's been on a tear and has earned it.

Personally, I'd like Opetaia to face Ramirez and Usyk to face the winner after facing one of the other heavyweights mentioned before.

who cares about undisputed unficiation when usyk just won all the belts and would merely be picking up one he threw in the garbage for inferior fighters to scrounge for?

Yep, legacy-wise, Opetaia's the only opponent he should consider before bowing out.

ya totally. no one at hw boosts him any more, he's gotten the undisputed and beaten the top guys and biggest names

opetaia would at least be a way of showing that he still reigns over his original kingdom, even if they kinda fudge it by fighting at hw

opetaia stylistically would give usyk more problems i think. a super fast guy. usyk just too quick and fit for the giants around today.

It is also worth remembering how close Usyk went with Briedis for comparison with Opetaia who also went close with Briedis.

it was intriguing in its own way. usyk really really good , fury wasnt going to win boxing tentative, he had to go for it. i know its easier said than done, but what fury had was natural size over usyk and his plan for this one never really put it into effect

Scores were ok usyk just hit fury with more shots more often its not rocket science fury landed 2 clean shots usky landed 5 simple really .. Although tyson made it interesting he slowed down which makes me wonder if the plan was to move away not forward and box not maul and wrestle . WHY come in so heavy and risk doing excatly what he done slow down . For me if fury was to have a chance to beat Usyk and it would be possible he needs to go back to Peter.. But Fury will stop Aj he may has well take that fight and then retire on a good win that pays a fortune DD well he may get his wish .and a big payday but next time Usyk flogs him . Having success with one punch last time doesnt mean hes all off a sudden good enough

Well done Usyk ! A class act inside and outside the ring and an incredible record.

I am guessing they told Daniel to do that , definitely not his natural style or character.

I'm pleasantly surprised the judges judged properly. I like both fighters, and the verdict is justified.

ya, seen a bit of criticism about jai having hard time with breidis, but usyk did too. fair enough it was several years earlier, but briedis still a solid boxer

All that disrespectful bluster from Fury counts for nothing.

Beaten again by the little rabbit, Usyk is some fighter.
