It's Fury or DDD and I'd have him as a heavy underdog in both.

he will be hoping parker beats DD so he can take that instead .

Fury could retire after the latest defeat which he clearly is in denial about .

I saw an interview with Usyk today and he was asked who was tougher out of AJ and Fury and what Fury fight was harder. He said first Fury fight was harder, Fury was the tougher opponent out the two but he thinks AJ will beat Fury if they fought.

I think the translation was a little off on the AJ vs Fury prediction. Apparently he said he wanted AJ to win.

Would'nt mind seeing Fury and DD , but not so sure Fury would risk a loss against DD Personaly i think he beats DD easy but will his ego allow him to risk it , i think his familly will be on him to retire now , they will accept the losses to Usyk the great , stating they were robbed twice , but a fight and a loss , against DD, and to an extent a seen better days AJ , and that relegates Tyson to the never was any good anyway status of Wilder , and that is something , i don't think him or his familly could easily take .

If it was a mistranslation I agree with it. Usyk had to negate size and strength against both and obviously found Fury the harder to outbox (at least first time), but Joshua brings a lot more of Ngannou's physical threat to Fury with superior skills.

It's likely won or lost in their heads at this point though. Joshua's loss was more devastating on paper, but he did go out on his shield and might salvage belief from that. Fury might bash him up but you'd think he's unlikely to poleaxe him. Whereas the thought of Joshua landing fortuitously is compelling.

It's still a fight I'd be more hyped for than I was for either against Usyk.

Who knows if he would even necessary need to be lucky. He did better against Ngannou than Fury did. He did just as well against Usyk as Fury did. Maybe he's every bit as good if not a smidge better than Fury.

It's certainly not out of the question that he could be.

AJ undoubtedly hits harder than Fury. Fury seems to have more heart, and better ability to recover. Their styles aren't particularly similar, and I could see both of them being trouble for the other when on their game.

Good point. What he landed on Ngannau he could land on Fury. After a couple of those shots, no one gets up.
I could see Joshua getting cagey if he gets stung and trying to box Tyson. In that scenario, he loses.

I wouldn’t rule out AJ stopping Fury now, a few years ago I would’ve been confident Fury easily outboxes him but Fury looks more fragile these days and AJ can whack. Id probably still slightly favour Fury but wouldn’t be at all surprised if he lost.

It is a lot more difficult to call isn't it these days. Even faded versions of both I'd like to see and would not be sure who would win.

Just a bastard shame this didn't happen when both were much younger.

Doubt it, I just think it's one of those fights destined not to happen.

That seems to be the way of the world these days. Nothing ever happens right on time anymore.

2 big names clashing in their prime is a super rarity in Boxing in the modern era. Hell maybe it always was I don't know. I wasn't there to see it

Would Dubious vs Parker count?
Maybe DDD isn't prime yet, but Parker is, and it's a proper but gifted belt

AJ has been prepared to take the Fury fight for some time now. Another example of a quality boxer Fury has seemingly dodged at various stages of his career....Price for the British title, Klitschko rematch and AJ....meanwhile Fury happy to box Chisora 3 times !

The first Chisora fight was ok considering the stage of Fury's career and it was for the British title, the second fight was not needed at all and turned out to be as shit as we thought it would, the third fight was just spitting in the face of the fans and insulting them with a total waste of time.

That said, I think AJ would benefit from a couple of quick succession wins to help his mindset following the disastrous loss to Dubois.

Look, I disagree but thinking about it objectively it was probably Hearn and Warren who couldn't sort it. HE would have had those two at it years ago.

Joshua has gone into hiding, i'd be surprised if its anyone else but Fury. I'd also be very surprised if they took a warm up unless Fury does too.
