Who would Usyk choose as his next opponent and who would you choose for him?

Retire on top. He's beat the king and he's not getting any younger.

For the record this would be my top choice as well. If he insists on sticking around Zhang or Bakole are the most interesting opponents to me, but if he retired on top I'd celebrate that and admire it, and I think it'd be as good a career move as any.

That being said. I understand how impossibly hard it must be to walk away when you're still #1 and there's still millions more dollars left to be made.

Maybe he's sending money back to Ukraine, and to the up-and-coming Ukrainian boxers around him. he'd know immediately how to spend any future pay days (and not on blow like most retired British boxers  )

If Kayabel gets past Zhang, give this kid a shot.

Massive fan of Kabayel, unbeaten and watchable and iirc despite not being old I think he is already 3x EBU champ

it'd be interesting to see Usyk fight a smaller, technical fighter for once like Kabayel, rather than the long line of behemoths he's had to deal with since moving up.

Twice and he won those titles against not the best opposition> Herve Hubeaux and Agron Smakici

The Smakici fight was a 3 round war, Smakici hurt Kabayel badly and almost stopped him in the 2nd round

Kabayel's a good fighter but he's not in Usyk's league.

Dudn't he win it vs Lewandowski as well, Boxrec shows it as vacant then as well

We're on borrowed time with Usyk so match him with fresh opposition :TU:

Bakole would be good.

Realistically though it will be the winner of Dubois vs Parker. Then Usyk is unified again.

Usyk is more of a once a year fighter, whereas Opetia is more active and could unify in the time it takes Usyk to have another fight.

Then that’s a big deal isn’t it? Undisputed against undisputed? I get the desire to see him retire but there is also the need to see what else he can do before he does.

I like the Bakole fight, the Dubois rematch isn't the worst

I'd really like to see DDD-Bakole. I think that's the fight to make, although Fwank would probably disagree,

Can't really see anyone out there giving Usyk too much trouble at the moment , maybee Parker might be interesting for a while , Opetai may be interesting IF Usyk went down in weight , purely because Opetai is aggressive and the only , time Usyk has shown vunerability is when he's going backwards ,if Opetai had to come up in weight forget it, mismatch, Usyk all the way

We have already seen he's too smart and too fast for the big lumbering slowish guys ,, i'd like to see him in with someone a bit smaller and faster . , I think maybee a fit Ruiz may be interesting , but how likely are we to get a fit Ruiz ,

Kabayel, may be good but really why would you if your Kabeyal , stick around wait for Usyk and the monsters to retire , which can't be far off , AJ - Fury have perhaps two big money fights with each other and thats it for them really , then have it out with Moses or the like .

Got a feeling Usyk will stick around for a while , think its more about national pride and legacy with him , he's got plenty of money

I wouldn't write off a bit of an easier one next for Usyk - because of the situation with many of his more natural big fights, particularly if he wants a fight in April / May. Zhang, Kaybel, Bakole, Fury, Joshua, Dubois, Parker are out equation.

So how about giving the WBA Regular Champion, Pulev a shot? In April?
