This is a good one. If Oliver McCall doesn't cry in the middle of the ring, he could win, but I would favor Earnie Shavers by unanimous or split decision.

Either McCall take a decision or stopping Shavers late by jabbing more and landing right hands or Shavers would stop McCall on his feet in the late rounds that the Atomic Bull that never being stopped before after nailing him with big massive overhand rights.

At his best McCall was pretty good. He had more skills than Shavers. Ernie was obviously more of a puncher than a boxer. Of course, he was among the greatest punchers ever, but we know, that the Atomic Bull wasn't a human and had never gone to sleep. Shavers wouldn't simply do anything to McCall, he would be decisioned.
