Andrew Golota vs Deontay Wilder

Post by DrDuke »

12 rounds.

Could Golota be stable, use his superior technical abilities, keep up the strategy and gradually destroy the reckless Windmill? Or Andrew fails to be perfect enough and catches Wilder's KO punch? I guess, Wilder had to be too fast here, but he would fall short and get battered first.

Golota by KO 6.

To me, honestly, it has Golota-Grant 2.0 written all over it. Also, with some similarities to Wilder-Ortiz 2.

If Golota isn't getting bombed in the 1st round, I see him boxing Wilder's head off for a good portion of the fight.

Then, he gets clipped by a straight right and tells ref he had enough.

Overall, though, I like this pairing. There are some variables as to how the fight might go. But I don't envision Golota holding it all together down the stretch of the fight.
