Best bet is to stay close with Fwank, and buy him out when the old man retires. Eddie will be left out and thats probably why the Saudi's are closer with Fwank than him.
Why would Eddie need to buyout Frank?
I think he meant Turki buy out Frank.
Ah. That makes more sense! I still can’t see it happening though.

Can you see that though , buy out Frank who i highly doubt would sell , and who will run it for him , Franks sons , why , they could carry on and run it for themselves , could see Turki buying shares though , perhaps in both matchroom boxing arm , and Franks . These guys do seem on a colosal mision to change things around , for the benefit of the words i'd never heard of before , Sports washing

I cannot see the Saudi's being particularly interested in building up someone. I see Eddie's and Frank job is to build up someone so they end up in Riyad season.

Problem is - do Frank / Eddie have that desire now - all they are really talking about is the established stars and its Turki this, Turki that, his excellency blah blah. Cannot really remember the last time Eddie / Frank signed a non Olympic amateur.

Great cards that they are - there is a lot of recycling going on - particularly in the Heavyweights. Yes Moses Utoma is now getting the exposure, but that's about it recently - the rest is Parker, Chisora, Wilder, Zhang, Dubois, Usyk, AJ, Fury round robin of recycled fighters. Not even Bakoyle is getting the opportunity.

Frank is signing them all the time. Eddie signed Conor Tudsbury recently.

Bakole’s had 2 fights on Riyadh season shows and his next one will be financed by Turki too.

Also Frank rarely goes for Olympians. He must have signed 25 U.K. amateurs over a he last 2-3 years so not sure where you’ve got that from. Moses Itauma being a fairly recent example amongst others.

Not quite. He also has extreme personal wealth. Not everything he’s done so far has been done using PIF money. The Ring purchase for example was done with ‘his own’ money. There will also be shows this year that he’ll finance personally rather than using PIF money.

I agree though he’s not a builder of fighters. The shows are helped by having a mouthpiece which Eddie and Frank have done well, and obviously many top level fighters are tied down to promoters.
Where did he accrue his own money? Who pays him?

Trust me, he could be defrocked both literally and financially if the crown think he's getting too big

I’ve no idea where is own money came from. He’s in a very senior role and I’m sure he’s benefitted greatly from it.

Of course he could lose influence if the royals go in a different direction. I haven’t seen any of that happening though.

If it did then would Turki spend so much on boxing? Perhaps not but hopefully that’s a way away.

He's not a promoter and I'm sure he wouldn't want all the hassle of being one. There is absolutely no reason for that to change.
