The WBC has updated its corporate logo to include the flag of Saudi Arabia. Gone from prior versions is the flag of Russia. According to the WBC's statement, "this redesign reflects the dynamic changes in the global boxing landscape and the inclusion of new nations within the WBC family.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said, “we are excited to unveil our new logo, which captures the essence ofbboxing’s evolution and our commitment to global unity. This redesign is a testament to our commitment to continue leading the sport and representing boxers worldwide.“

Re: Saudi Arabia replaces Russia in WBC logo
Politically, Russians aren't great but neither are the Saudis. Russia has a long history of events, champions and title fights whereas Saudi has hosted about 10 events and have no champs. I can understand why they might want to remove Russia (for political reasons whether you agree with it or not) but there are more way deserving countries to replace it than Saudi. We all know why they're doing this...
Re: Saudi Arabia replaces Russia in WBC logo
They can replace the flags on the Logo, but if a Russian Boxer gets in the ring with a Saudi Boxer. The Russian is gonna win that fight probably 96 times out of 100.
