Did Urkal recieve step a side money regarding the Hatton vs Collazo situation? I thought he was just stipulated to fight the winner in a certain amount of days - Hatton won, but didn't fight Urkal.
If US TV and/or Hatton's camp don't care about the belts, why on earth is he fighting Urango next? Why on earth did he fight hard outside of the ring to make sure Collazo was for the title? Why did he fight Maussa?
Obviously they must care about them a bit, cause they are all pretty poor matches on paper (although Collazo surprised us all). I feel a bit cheated by this next match.... Hatton is going backwards.
If Hatton wins against Urango will he vacate ???
cos the plonkers at HBO would approve Collazo, but not Rabah. Or was it Mbaye? Or both? Can't remember. So when Lazcano pulled out, Hatton had no one to fight in his natural weight class & with HBO totaly ignorant re his quality mandatories, his titles were on the verge of being stripped. Given that Collazo had been in an outstanding war with Jose Rivera, and cos Collazo has a welter title, Hatton went that route. & nearly got beaten. HBO dictate this and dictate that, but would they want any more of hatton if he lost? They very nearly put him into a loss, on his debut.
