Re: George Liddard vs. Derrick Ozzie | DAZN - 31 January 2025
Fawaz won the last round but pissed about too much, no idea who won but I think Fawaz earned a draw but will not get it, and may have edged it. MR fighter usually wins anything close.

Fawaz could have won that with constant pressure and no posturing.

Split draw, not a robbery, hope Fawaz gets another payday from it

Is it just me or does Fawaz have perfect eyebrows?
Re: George Liddard vs. Derrick Ozzie | DAZN - 31 January 2025
Fawaz a proper character, was all there for him and the showboating cost him .
Edward better calm it with the talk of Bostan becoming world champion, lots to learn .

Bostan very good in responding, not arrogant, and even went out to speak positively about Fawaz's backstory. Fawaz coming across as a bit of a bellend, Bostan sounding like the more mature man despite being much younger. Eddie honest in saying he thought Fawaz won. Sounds like we are getting a rematch.
Not sure Bostan can demand rematch in Sheffield though.

Bostan one of the rare people to not defend a possibly dubious decision. Nice to see.

Gutted. Had money on Fawaz at ridiculous price of 11-1!!!!!! Nuts. Fawaz good pedigree and Bostan very overrated. Even Eddie Hearn said Fawaz won by 6-4. Fuming

I was not scoring it just watching it, I had Fawaz winning I think but am a geek and will rewatch it tomorrow (as if anyone cares about my scoring!)JamesPhilips wrote: ↑31 Jan 2025, 17:29 Gutted. I really did think Bostan won the post-fight interviews, he came across well and Fawaz came across as a bit of a dickhead.
Oh god now we have Conor Benn talking. He does not ever need to worry about CTE as he is braindead. I sincerely hope he gets punchied into row Z. Total crayon-munching entitled nobhead. He should be sponsored by Crayola.

If Liddard can dispatch Osaze like Bentley did then we can assume he's the goods and/or Osaze is shot to pieces

Good fight .
Liddard clear winner and showed a good engine , kept his shape right to the end .
Jury is out about his punching power at this level , but a nice disciplined performance .

Good night of boxing.
Liddard vs Troy Williamson would be an interesting test.

96-94 Liddard for me, really good competitive scrap, both were connecting early, Osaze is a sharp puncher and a bit naughty but Liddard pulled ahead first half for me, more consistent on his work and landing the heavier looking punches, Osaze cwm into things second half though as Liddard lost his shape a bit, Osaze was landing uppercuts up close and some good right hands, I had it even after 8 but credit Liddard he pulled it out the bag in the last 2, turned it up a notch and was out landing Osaze in the exchanges, good win for Liddard, great learning fight and a good hard 10 rounds in the bank

This co-main was an absolutely cracking fight, exactly the sort of testing fight you want to see a guy at Bostan's stage be having. hope they run it back.
