Poor guy will train his backside off, go through all the rigmarole of preparing for a big fight, only for Haye to get injured adjusting the climate control in his car, picking his nose, or hanging out his washing, then the fight gets called off.

I remember him from Boxing Addicts forum at the time of fighting Carl Thompson. His name on there was DavidHaye with summin to say....he was pretty cool about being blasted out by Thompson, humble days I recall.
Anyway yeah he will like the cash but am pretty sure the other poster was wrong about him not wanting any titles but there ya go.
What I found pretty amazing was that early pro career Haye did not use the Hayemaker nickmame - I mean talk about crying out for it.

David Haye is probably the best salesmen fighter in the history of British boxing..but there's no Pro boxing cash grabs available even to him.
Maybe he's doing misfits or relaunching his Management firm
he is indeed a good salesman, I was sold on the Audley Haye fight being legit, he definitely sold that charade well.

TBF - that was alot to do with Audley also.
aye, I was a big Audley since he was won the Commonwealth in 98, it is the only time I bet on boxing, I put £100 on Audley to win as he made a good speech about redemption etc and I'd bought his book after the Olympics so always wanted him to win. I watched the fight with my mates round and they were howling as Audley basically stood still for 2 rounds then got stopped. Not to segwey but I enjoyed Audley's career, fun Prizefighter wins, genuine good win in second fight vs Danny W and really good come from behind one armed KO of Sprott for EBU title.
Haye posted a photo of him and his son Cassius in the ring, his son is a big lump these days, must only be about 16 but looks bigger than his dad. Does his son box as an amateur?
