There’s not a massive height difference is there? I know Alvarez is a lot more thick set

Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford - 17 September 2025
interesting fight. obvious canelo is bigger and an excellent fighter himself, but i think crawford is capable of boxing the style that troubles canelo and exploits his slower feet and spot fighting when on the agressive. how much will canelo's greater size and power rattle crawford? will it make him overly cautious? hurt him and shake him up?
Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford - 17 September 2025
Ring size could be the key here
Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford - 17 September 2025
I'm excited for this.
My birthday is Mexican Independence Day so there's always a big fight laid on for me
Just have to decide whether to watch it in San Diego or go to Mexico to watch.
As for Bud's chances, I'm not writing him off.

This isn’t because Canelo is genuinely considering fighting Jake Paul is it?

I'm trying to remember the last exciting fight that Canelo was in?
It might have been the first 2 GGG fights.
He definitely should have lost the first one and possibly the 2nd?

Setting a record for lowest punches landed. Shocking fight where Kieran McCann had to call for action during the fight multiple times. When a referee is having to tell fighters to fight, that's just terrible.

First was a blatant robbery, second can see it either way or draw fairest.forcefraser wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 03:48 I'm trying to remember the last exciting fight that Canelo was in?

It's Turki and Dana's first show together on a platform to be announced! I wonder what our lads are thinking?

Fortunately Crawford will be about as well preserved a 38 year old as you’re likely to find in boxing when these two meet. Even for him though. It’s probably not the age to be (potentially) pulling out the biggest answers of your career.

So it’s gonna be a TKO card, not Ring Magazine?

It's at the new NFL stadium in Vegas.
I'd LOVE to go to it but you just know it's going to be silly money for tickets and hotels.
I'm still not picking a winner. One part of me sees Canelo just being too hefty but for years I've heard about how crazy strong Crawford is. And he's very smart & vicious whereas Canelo has been coasting for years now.
But a fighter is a fighter. Maybe this will bring out the best in Canelo.
I'm over-thinking as usual

Canelo on an undeserved points win or, an undeserved draw to milk a rematch.
Canelo enters every fight 4-0 on the cards because of the biases judges. So Terence has his work cut out here. I smell a robbery.
