it was more light-hearted than the former Chisora activity

Yh it was. Lucky it was Wallin.
Not many would take that as a joke.

the thing that makes me chuckle is his badman background thing - he's privately educated hence having quite colonial attitudes towards his own home countryRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑07 Feb 2025, 16:44Yh it was. Lucky it was Wallin.

Can't see it, never been much of a puncher , can see Chisora walking him down and stopping him , his performance against Joshua was abject to say the least.

Chisora is shot and old. He's been looking shocking in there. That last fight vs Joyce was very very low level. Wallin has beaten Gassiev and Breazeale who bring some pressure. He has no offence other than a jab but he will utilise that and his basic foot movement to just box around Chisora. It will be a poor performance from Chisora. Wallin can't stop him but he should win every second of the contest.

wallin's jab and move style will be difficult for chiz i think. i dont think the aj fight is that relevant, aj is far more explosive, longer, and more skilled on outside than chisora
Re: Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin | TNT Sports - 8 February 2025
DelBoy seems really up for it - he can see retirement in two fights time, he's gonna train hard and give his all this time.KiwiRider wrote: ↑02 Feb 2025, 13:23Sometimes he gets in the ring and tries really hard, and sometimes he just tries not to get knocked out.tiny_acres wrote: ↑01 Feb 2025, 23:48 I hate to make a prediction. Every time I write off Chisora he pulls an upset.
It's actually quite annoying![]()
Imo, course you never know with Del, but he's doing this purely 'cos he wants too.

A swede vs a cabbage, put me down for team Wallin, Chisora has been a credit to boxing in this country as far as fighting literally anyone but every time I see him I can't not notice he's a thug and a bully , he's always struggled with leftys, if Wallin can survive the early onslaught he could outbox Chisora
Truth be told I was impressed with Chisora against Joyce and I can see him getting to Wallin either early or late

According to Queensberry's running order the vacant British feather title is on the line in the Abdulah/Miller fight as well as Abdulah's Commonwealth
Re: Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin | TNT Sports - 8 February 2025
Anyone know how undefeated heavyweights 19-0 Nelson Hysa v 12-0 Todorche Cvetkov ended up on this card? Very strange matchup but intriguing non the less
Re: Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin | TNT Sports - 8 February 2025
Hysa is WBO ranked (at #12) and is the WBO European champion. We all know WBO is Frank's favourite corrupt alphabet org. I imagine it has some connection to that. Might be a future opponent for Itauma who's WBO #5.
Re: Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin | TNT Sports - 8 February 2025
I think Hysa might sell a fair few tickets to the Albanian community.

Re: Derek Chisora vs. Otto Wallin | TNT Sports - 8 February 2025
Yeah you can make a case for either - it's genuinely tough to call....
All logic says Wallin pts, he's not a dynamic puncher and Del is tough. Wallin is a tricky, longer southpaw and Del is too old to pressure, get inside and win how he wins. Wallin pts.
But..,
You never know, he folds easily, doesn't appear to train really hard and Del win rounds (and openings) on desire and intensity that Wallin lacks.
Should be an intriguing watch.

This did the rounds in December. I’ve never seen it confirmed by any credible source but it does make sense.
